Elveon, developed by the Slovakia based 10tacle team is back after a rather long wait. This new trailer presents the fighting system, and it doesn't look bad at all. The game will be presented in 2 weeks at the Game Convention in Leipzig.
i think part of the forcefulness comes from trying to suppress the accent and enunciating. i'm guessing they just pulled someone from the office and threw him into a small studio and recorded it :)
I see they went for a very realistic combat system which is a refreshing change. will be keeping an eye on this one. looks good! nice to see more and more NON-FPS games on the 360.
This game really looks great. The voice-acting is godawful and kind of ruins the experience...but the fight system looks nice, and I look forward to studying some different martial arts, sword arts, etc.
The characters look pretty cool, but I want to see the kind of creativity that goes into a game like Oblivion in this - not quasi-Elder Scrolls stuff.
The screenshots made this look like a cheap Oblivion knock off, but this trailer was really promising. The combat seems great, especially the animation. I can't wait to see what they show at the Leipzig convention.
Wow, this is beautiful. It is in-engine, and fighting is in-game. You can tell this guys (devs) are from central-east Europe, as they have this great fidelity and sense for medieval details. If that is how the game will look, than i shall buy it, no question asked.
Looks great and has a solid set of tactics and pre-determined moves.
BUT, I would so want to see a Die By the Sword fighting mechanism. The dual-thumbstick pad is just crying for that kind of realism and control. But alas, no developer is up to the challenge and treyarch is - while making some great games - now just a non innovative, low-risk developer.
Btw I have a friend who's a Slovak! It's good 10tacle presents themselves as slovaks instead of czech.
Wow I'd buy this game just for that combat... even this game has better combat than too human =P
I understand they'll likely improve on it greatly, but a little criticism never hurt I'm sure it has them further determined to proving all the naysayers wrong after E3.
Me like! But I'm still waiting for the combat system I dreamed of for so many years. Hoped this would be it, but I doubt it.
I still want a super precise weapon-to-flesh collision detection system, where one strike to the throat or to other deadly areas will end the fight right away.
That would be true Next-gen for me. Tired of games where a shot/blow to the foot kills you because you are low on health..

Terrible voice acting though, forced delivery kills the atmosphere.
hope the rest of the game is this detailed.
Lets just hope it doesnt turn into a Hack n Slash :(
I'm liking the look of this game :)
Really like the guard breaking moves.

Hope there some cool and massive enviroments in this game...
