Codemasters have finally released what seems to be the first in-game images from Operation Flashpoint 2. It might be worth pointing out once again that the game is made by completely different developers than the ones that did the first game.
Even if this game is only the first game but with a face lift then i'd be very happy..I'm also glad to hear that the mission editor will be making a return..hopefully on the console version too
Wow its gloomy... What is wrong with sunny bright days? Soo sick of this depressing artstyle in so many wargames.. Wars are being fought and people are being killed in sunlight too, you know.. Plus, then you can actually see something and enjoy the visuals :(

Just Cause looked better: more detail, immense drawing distance etc. More than dissappointed with screen 3. Ground detail (texture/trees) is so past millenium.

Just cause was an action game there was no simulation at all relating to weapons, squads, armies
at least they released real screenshots for once! its funny they are all looking at a photo of some sky with a not that great chopper in the middle...its like they are tring to avoid the floor as much as possible...I cant think why - its looks terrible.
I very nearly ended up working on this game...thank the gods!!
I am looking forward to seeing the ground based shots....maybe they have some crazy lod system and when you get on the ground it actually looks amazing....maybe...as long as you dont look too far away....sniper gameplay could be interesting from a visual standpoint!
