I want to get excited by this because ive preordered it but i just cant. It looks nice but theres something missing and i cant put my finger on it. Just seems a bit empty and generic compared to Forza Horizon 2 (my opinion) which seems to offer more in the way of fun in the way its structured. As a p2p racer, DC ticks the boxes but for me the fun and social is where i get my kicks and thats with FH2.
I really don't understand whats this game's hook is. If we are suppose to get excited by new challenges from random people then they have dropped the ball. I mean Forza 5 has Rivals Mode and track times with leaderboards and such...this is nothing special...who hit a turn the best or drove through a certain section of track the fastest can not be all it has to go up against Horizon 2 this fall...it will not end well for them if thats the case.

I hear ya, but ill take an actual game with my visuals thank you. Horizon 2 is no push over in the graphics department, but the game modes and features is whats selling it. Its gameplay is nothing like Rivals at all...if anything its an open world PGR, and looks to be much deeper than DC.

Don't know which he was referring to, but I'd say it gives any PC game a run for its money. If you've got a game that clearly beats it in visuals, let me know and I'll try to be objective.
Graphics aside, these trailers don't give me much to go on. Would like more gameplay trailers instead... That being said, I hope there is a replay mode and the replays come out looking like these trailers. That would be fan-fuckin-tastic.
