Because this isnt FIFA with its ridicilous fast player movement. FIFA is like CoD... Casuals want it faster and faster even when its totally unrealistic.
Slower movement and pace offers so much more gameplay possibilities and encourages strategy.

Huh... I occasionally play FIFA 15, and the first thing I thought 5 seconds into this video was PES is immensely faster than FIFA (at least 15).
Liking the look of this. Pace looks perfect, and that's one thing where EA just seem to not have a clue about. They must think all football games are played at ice hockey speeds. If games were played at that pace for 90 minutes, the players would need air lifted straight to hospital rather than walking off the pitch. Responsiveness still looks a bit on the robust side, but I'm sure with a few tweaks here and there, we'll actually get a good PES for once.
