RPG from indie studio Enigami reveals a bit more through this Gamescom trailer. Shiness was partly funded via Kickstarter before publisher FOcus Home interactive jumped on board to release the game next year.
Looks like a high budget cell shaded last gen title. Naruto though still trumps it in character quality. It has though the makings of good story telling. i can see the team took cues from other anime based games. good animations too.
Hmm looks like it could be fun, but imho character design is awful, they are all ugly and boring looking. Even this 2D poster looks bad, like someone who is just learning to draw anime inspired art.

tbh he's not wrong. it's very "i followed a tutorial to create this" looking. about as generic anime as you can get with no style of their own. and the whole "do it better" argument is dumb. i can criticize bad movies and games without needing to be a director or developer. bad stuff looks bad. you only need eyes to see it.
I really love people, who just hip fire critics on something, but not really giving the solution or their point of view to that "problem". It would be perfectly ok, if the comment would be like "I don't like it, it's shitty and anime wannabe, but I would prefer to look like.......". C'mon guys!
There is nothing wrong with this artwork technically, but of course you can dislike it from an aesthetic point of view. I really can understand Zat's point, though. Like it or not, if you start to critizise the style of it: do something which fits the style of the game better or simply say that it isn't your personal preference.
