Activision just sent us these X360 and PS3 screenshots of Marvel Ultimate Alliance. The game doesn't really shine by its graphics, but from what we saw at E3, it could end up as a very fun game, especially in multiplayer. We'll keep an eye on it.
I hope its like Xmen Legends with you being able to control each individual hero. Not graphically impressive, but the game is impressive for the amount of characters in it.
yea i saw the jaggies too hey but this game looks like shit im very dissappointed well no im not its a marvel game they always look like crap except for spiderman.
I see jaggies, crappy shadows, poor textures and bad characters. I like spidey, spidey shoots slimy, sticky white stuff.. is that... EEW!
I see a game that is probably going to flop.
considering all that I still love the world, as in cartoon chars and multiplayer is (almost) always fun. And in the end I'm going to end up buying this. (after I buy a console with the money I get from work, which I don't have (hint hint. hire me.)) enough brackets?
well i don't think the graphics are bad. it's just the visual style of the character models i don't like. i don't like the stiffness, proportions or facial modeling
Can't believe all the graphics whores here. This game will be fun. X-Men Legends 2 was the best action RPG on the PS2 and this is taking it to the next level.

Its not about being a graphics whore. Its about expecting a certain, minimum level of graphical fidelity from a given set of hardware.
When there are only a max of 6 characters on-screen (7 if you count the fading character in screen 4), from these shots at least, it is seems an incredible waste of system resources to only present graphics at this level. Just look at the woman in yellow's face in pic 6. C'mon, thats just crap.
Yes, its true that gameplay is more important than graphics but the look of a game is the first thing you are going to experience. And first impressions count for a lot. And the overall first impression of this game for me is not a good one.
Pic 1 hints at quite large environments but the rest of the pictures seem to show a quite enclosed game. Its not very good, even if it were for xbox/ps2.

When you are paying so much for a next gen game..and other next gen games which cost the same give so much more in graphics, and gameplay (elders scroll 4, gears of war, fight night 3)...you expect such standards for every next gen game.. It's all about not feeling ripped off and feeling like you got something worthwhile for your money

Anyway...
I doubt this game will flop, considering how many Marvel Comic fans are out there.
Could be fun, but I wish they would have put more effort into the new console versions.
are they trying to appeal to the japanese masses? :D
They class it as an, action RPG too.
The huge dude is the Watcher.
I really like the ultimate universe..any ideas is mark miller writting the story for this game? His ultimates is just superb!!
Characters need more self shadowing i think, graphics aren't on par with next gen consoles..
But i'm betting its the fun gameplay element that will propel this game...will definently pick this one up as i'm a huge comic fan :D
The expression "next gen" is going to MURDER MY BRAIN.
