Bigest gripe i've always had with this game footage&images, was the Draw-distance as in the "after some distance, there just wouldn't be more buildings".

Still isn't no Crackdown or GTAIV, but seems greatly improved.

Looks good to me. It is open world game so they had to make some compromise. I like the karma things too blue means good cole and red means bad, anti-hero :O

Pretty mediocre visuals, and that's even with an obviously unrealistic amount of anti-aliasing in these shots.

yeah that draw distance isnt great. I've still not got the impression that its a living breathing world like you do with GTA4 either.

Some of those explosions look nice though.. i dunno, i think it will be interesting to see just what depth there is to this game.

really nice looking game, great lighting too. 'evil' cole looks so much cooler then 'good' cole. view distance isnt great with a heavy use of fog, but i think i'd take that and have crazy detailed and varied environments like they are...i mean, GTA 4's view distance wasnt great either, with far off buildings turning into jaggie, shimmering cardboard cut out looking things. but it was a good sacrafice since the streets looks great.

best view distance was prob crackdown, but seeing as that game didnt even really have a lighting engine, it's kinda obvious why that has had the best so far. lol

View distance is not a problem at all. Technically also it is good looking game for open world. Combat looks ok, but overall it will be great game I think. Day1 purchase :D
