IMMORTAL REALMS: VAMPIRE WARS ANNOUNCED
New turn-based strategy IP with card game and empire management coming to PC and consoles

Bracknell UK, 7th June 2019
Strategy gaming specialists Kalypso Media and developers Palindrome Interactive are thrilled to reveal the teaser trailer for Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars, a brand-new strategy IP for E3 2019 that mixes turn-based combat with card game elements and empire management for an innovative new take on the genre. The game will release on Windows PC in Fall 2019, and will arrive on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2020. Details of the PC version can be found on the Kalypso Shop and Steam.

Immortal Realms – Vampire Wars is an engaging strategy game set in a dark vampire world in turmoil, that combines empire management and turn-based combat with unique card-game elements. Descend into a mythical world filled with horrors and legends – and hurl yourself into a compelling gothic adventure paired with a challenging game experience. Discover the secrets of Nemire and experience an enthralling story from the perspective of four mighty vampire lords, each with their own goals and agendas.

Command one of three unique vampire clans with distinctive units, powers, gameplay mechanics and characters, making strategic manoeuvres in “Kingdom” mode before switching over to “Combat” mode to take on your foes in tense, closely fought battles. Original card game elements enhance the gameplay and provide a refreshing take on the genre. Each clan and vampire lord has access to their own set of cards, which can be combined to powerful effect.

MrWhite @toelessfoot: Well, only recently they have been. I think this is the first gen I've seen where PC's are playing catch up. Not through hardware power, but through development cycles (1 Day ago)

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot Yeah I think innovations on the console side are taken up more quickly by PC than vice versa because consoles are really lead platform for everything (1 Day ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite I think we could be seeing a dramatic shift in PC hardware where it'll be essential to own both an SSD and a next gen card with the api's to use them. That also would probably require new motherboards (2 Days ago)
