It may not have the best models or textures but it sure makes up for it in pure visual style. Love it.

Unique style. That's hard to come by.

If they've put as much effort into the gameplay as the art style, then this could be really unique!

Will it look like that the entire time of playing? When I first saw the video, I thought my vision had become impaired or something was wrong with the upload. If that's the artstyle though, I welcome it. I hope it's a little easier on the eyes when it's actually being played, but for now the animations looked great imo. Different indeed.

One of the best multiplayer modes ever. Looks brilliant visually, and I liked that touch of when the guy is killed, the gun slides ahead of his body.

really liking the look of this. technically it's lacking some polish, but stylistically it's awesome.

I think it looks fantastic, very clever art direction. After this I expect a lot of other games to copy cat, need for speed would be quite cool like this though

Looks excellent, I enjoyed the first one despite it's flaws so I doubt the sequel will disappoint.

god damn those filters have this game looking awesome. Theres nothing special about the textures, or animations to be honest.. but under those filters, shaky cam, and effects..it looks so much more realistic

I just hope it controls alot better than the first one

Absolutely amazing.

Most trailers I watch end up being technical exercises (i.e. "what's with those textures? And look at that clipping!") but the visual style was immersive enough to make the graphical flaws minor quibbles.

I wish more studios took this approach (even if not in the same way).

Hmm.
Couldn't see the actual gameplay underneath the visual effect diarrhea.
I'd actually like to see the gameplay, and if it's filled with vfx gimmicks such as these - count me out.

Go there, click on the Kane and Lynch 2 cover story, then go to page 24. You can watch *new* B-roll gameplay from Level 2, that is a better representation of the gameplay with no fast cuts. All unedited and looks amazing.

Wow. looks intense! I'm likin' it. On a side note, while it is a little confusing, that is a pretty sweet site. Very unconventional...

the chick sounds awkward when she says "fuck"
hopefully its not one of those games that go too extreme with the profanity. i mean i love profanity in games, makes them more gritty and mature, but there is a point when it just feels too forced and sounds pretty ridiculous. hopefully this chick is not a voice in the game though.

Can't agree there. I used to swear more when I was younger, so in effect, swearing makes it less mature. It can make it more realistic if used in a natural fashion, though. Swearing just for the sake of it is juvenile. I await the day when a "mature" game is mature for reasons other than swearing and nudity...
