According to those who have been able to play Streets of Rage 4, the game is shaping up pretty well in terms of gameplay, but the sound design should also be quite interesting with the number of artists who have taken part in the project: Olivier Derivière (Dying Light 2, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, GreedFall, Vampyr, Harold, Alone in the Dark, Obscure...), Yūzō Koshiro (Streets of Rage 1, 2 & 3, Ys I & II, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Revenge Shinobi, Shenmue I & II, Super Smash Bros. Brawl for 3DS and Wii U & Ultimate, ActRaiser 1 & 2 ...), Motohiro Kawashima (Streets of Rage 2 & 3, Shinobi II, Batman Returns ...), Yoko Shimomura (Streets of Rage 2 & 3, Shinobi II, Batman Returns ...), Keiji Yamagishi (Streets of Rage 2 & 3, Shinobi II, Batman Returns ...), Harumi Fujita (Final Fight, Mega Man 3, Bionic Commando, Strider, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Tomba! ...), Scattle (Hotline Miami 1 et 2), Das Mörtal (Hotline Miami 2), XL Middleton and Groundislava. So many exceptionally talented people that even if the game doesn't deliver - which is very, very unlikely, at least the soundtrack will epic. Streets of Rage 2's soundtrack is still one of the most beautiful soundtracks of all time. And SoR4's OST has the potential to surpass it. I can't wait to play and hear what they deliver.

Alone in the Dark (Dos CD Version) is still one of my most loved game OST's of all-time. Thank you Olivier Derivière. Can't wait for SoR4.

The Soundtrack is undoubtedly be good. the gameplay, who knows yet. The videos look allright but you need to play the full thing to have a proper opinion.
