Bioware introduces us with a whole new Character of Mass Effect 2 going by the name Subject Zero. She probably will not be to everyone's liking but after all, it takes different strokes to move the universe.
She seems pretty annoying in the trailer. It seems like Bioware's promotion for this game and Dragon Age is *trying* to make the games look lame. They pretty much succeeded with Dragon Age, but I don't think that game ever didn't look lame.
Only reason I'm still hyped for ME2 is because ME was probably the most powerful game I've ever played... with KotOR right behind it. I'll buy it regardless. But seriously, someone needs to remind EA Bioware make RPGs not FPSes, then take out whoever's in charge of marketing Bioware's games and shoot them.
They are, most of the older characters will be npc's who you might come across every now and again, they're being replaced by the characters Bioware has been showing off, Bioware confirmed as much in their forums quite a while ago now.

I heard that some if not most of these new characters were there as replace the characters if they died in the last game, not regardless of whether they died. I remember they said it around the time they revealed "Grunt" and people were asking about Wrex, and Bioware said you'd get Grunt if Wrex was dead because they didn't want to have to completely rewrite situations if the character was different.

Mixed feeling about this character. Maybe because i don't like tough girls, and she forcing Sheppard like she did on the video actually scared me to a point.

EA has absolutely nothing to say about the direction and production of this game, why do people keep bringing that up... (And EA hasn't been doing badly lately)

They don't have anything to say to a developer they own?
Bioware specifically wanted Mass Effect to feel more like a retro Sci-Fi with bright colors, colorful alien species and space exploration. Which it was. Then EA buys Bioware and suddenly its dark, action-focused, bloody and has "tough" NPCs running around. Sounds more like a typical EA game than a Bioware game tbh. But I might just be a coincidence, maybe.
