Unbelievable, Max Payne 3 has 2 new screenshots, though in low resolution. Apparantly these were posted at Rockstar's twitter. That could only means to expect new suff from the game soon. Update: High resolution screens added.

well, at least we know he isn't bald through the entire game. and it isn't like the series is exactly know for protagonist consistency in terms of looks. (those complaining about the shirt clearly didnt play the first game) so I'm looking forward to this one tbh. as long as it doesn't have the usual crappy R* gunplay.

It's not just that, it's also hearing that there'll be cover gameplay, which probably involves chest high walls everywhere, and doesn't fit Max Payne's design. And Rockstar gunplay has never been fun, which was excellent in previous Max Payne games. Stranglehold upped the game with destructible environments, and having more John Woo debris flying everywhere. Rockstar games have never had destructible elements.
Story inevitably will be a let-down, so I'm more worried about the gameplay.

Just going with RDR and GTA 4, yeah they're not the best at it. Awful pacing, goose-chase of narratives, shallow characters that are just caricatures, and errand-boy protagonists.
Funnily enough, Remedy are some of the best developers for narratives and storytelling. But then I'm a Remedy fanboy.
What i need from this game:
- at least good graphics
- destructible environments
- awesome shooting mechanics
- bullettime
- at least average physics but hope for a nice physics emulation.
- dark and noir mood (no need to be at night to get noir mood. no really don't)
- minimum B movie plot
- at least give me a half regiment of bad guys to shoot to bloody bit and pieces
If the game will have those above then I will not give a flying f**k about these:
- is he bald or not
- what the hell he is wearing
- where do i need to kill those bad guys (it could be tropical too)
