Trailer

As promised Rockstar just released this new gameplay video of Red Dead Redemption 2. While the video is very high quality, we only have one with French audio for the moment, please be patient while we remux it with English audio.
Update: Added the remuxed video using the video stream from the French video (so French subtitles), and Audio from the English trailer.

in first person the camera movement is amazing
even the gunplay better than new EA games like battlefield v :/
and god the animation so much better and smooth,cinematic in any other game i ever see

25 days left! The animations and transitions look so good. The gunshots sound amazing and environments, weather effects look incredible. The vista in that shot with Arthur on the horse facing the camera was really beautiful. Can't wait

It looks pretty incredible, and this coming from someone who has played most GTA games, but has completed a grand total of one? Or maybe none, can't remember. I only played a little of RDR and enjoyed what I played. This, however, looks amazing.

The moments with the snow, storm looked absolutely incredible.

There is so much more going on in the world this time compared to previous RDR.

btw they have one shot camera work or something similar? Either way, transition between cutscenes to gameplay looks great.

R* has done it again. People got nerve to say they are tired or don't want open world games. No you just need an open world game done right. This trailer has more going on it than most other games. I'm calling it already.... GOTY

Maybe wait to see some uncut extended gameplay when its out and if you are not interested then just wait for a sale or something. But honestly if it's not your thing you don't need to buy it just because its a very anticipated game.

Maybe thats not the fault of the game. I think you have played too much games and seen too much, thats why its boring for you. So its very hard to statisfy you. I have the same problem, unfortunately.

It's got everything, really. The game itself should easily be the crowning jewel in this generation, but that was never going to be hard for Rockstar to do once they put out a game developed for it.

It's just a massive shame that the controversy of the paywalled content and pre-order bonus bollocks gated off behind the multitude of "editions" this game has is leaving a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Then there will be the multi-player, and I think we all know what route that will go down, yet no one really seems to care. They produce a game of this quality, and sully it with all the worst industry practices going. It's fucking disgusting.

Yeah i feel like it happens with every second AAA game these days.
*Pre-order SE to receive a bonus mission or items*. I order the standard editions of the games i'm interested in. Fuck them.

It is shitty so just buy the standard edition, that's what i do when the special edition extra stuff are so overpriced. Even with games im really excited for im not gonna pay extra 20 for just two side missions which i don't even know the quality and some comsmetics. I would gladly pay that and more for expansions, dlc if they are good.

The video really chugs on my laptop. I have played videos encoded at 4k & 60fps w/o issues on windows"Movie & TV player" (best due to very low CPU usage) before but this different. I think "remux" is the issue. Does anyone know if there is/are special codecs to solve this. I had same issue with HDR version of GeoW encoded in HEVC.

I think you just need a better video player really, the windows one isn't that great. There's loads of better players. I use MPV, but I'd imagine something like VLC or PotPlayer would play it fine also.

What a weird opinion. Horizon had a pretty imaginative world aesthetically, God of War's was also striking, but yes it did have few NPCs. Far Cry was a representation of the pacific North West, which it did pretty darn well. So yeah, I think your opinion is way off.

The problem i had with Horizon ZD is how lifeless/ded was the game's world. There are lot's of npc's you could see in the settlements, but their purpose is to just sit like a stones and repeat one line of dialogues if you try to interact with them. Hope Guerrilla work on this in the sequel. Other than that, it was a game based on Ubisoft checklist formula. I can see why some people like it so much.
I do loved the combat a lot though and i can say it's far more fun than in Rockstar's open world games!
