Sony has finally announced the future release (most likely Q4 2008) of Motorstorm 2, the sequel of the excellent but very rushed Motorstorm. The game will this time be played on an island, promising a bigger variety of environments. The first teaser video is available, unfortunately 100% CG.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

It would be great to ride on snow, djungle, desert in one game.. When only using one, the game gets quite booring..
It has great visuals though and I'm sure the sequel will too. They really should put in a cockpit view this time around as I felt the sense of speed and immersion could really benefit from this.
Lame trailer though, I don't particularly care for CG trailers.
CGI just shows you the mood of it, how it is gonna be played, or just to show it is coming.
Considering MotorStorm 2 takes place in an island now, maybe they aren't done with the environment models.
If they do show that and it is medicore, you will say "uh this is sucks".
So easy way out to get you excited is to show you a CGI of the game, the new environment...etc. until they are ready to show you the gameplay.
GT5, PGR4, Forza 2 and so on all had CG trailers.
Can't wait, IGN reporting 4 player split-screen, monster trucks and destructable environment.
Jigen: True, but MS1 is a lot faster and better overall with the camera really close.
And before thinking "lol, no, you'll buy it either way!" Let me tell you I didn't buy MS1 just because of that.
I don't like being taxed to get what I already should have.
16 tracks they say.................BluRay, use it.
25 tracks at least or forget it.
Looks good, just like MS1 CG trailer, I'm sure they'll come close to the feel of the trailer with the real thing.
there should be a law , that if the game doesn't look and feels and does what the CGI video showed then the company gets sued and the game price drops 50% off for false advertising.
First one might not have matched the trailer graphically but it gave you an idea of what the game was going for and yes when the full game launched, it matched what the CG set up: Muddy, wreckless crazy, fast paced racing game.
Hope to see real time screens soon.
