N3 was very good and fun but those towers in the third mission don't show any damage, when you whatch your team mates walk and then they stop there it is just like wham (looks gay), the draw distance is pretty bad for a 360 game that to me is pretty sill Halo 3 will have no draw distance at all (look in the trailer that is real time.
I think the fact that this game - gameplay wise - is exactly like Dynasty Warriors was a bit of a slap in the face of people somehow expecting it not to be. Give the demo some time though, learn the combos and the orb system, and if you were interested in the first place you'll see that there's an enjoyable game there even if it's rather primitive.

Must have played the demo 20 times already lol. Can't wait for the game to be released. :)
Same over here. the game is a must buy for me. the fun comes when you are tring your best to get a 1000 combo or in my case after dozens of trials, I managed to get a 3000 combo!!!!

Well, I really waited for this game, but that's because I knew it was developed by Phantagram, and I hoped to see some strategy in it:/ Bah, developers said, there will be some strategy.... "Some" seems to be same as none... Just hack, hack, slash, slash, etc...
Even with Dead Rising coming out- and now sitting in my Disk Drive- Even with Saint's Row coming out at the end of the month-- N3 is the game I'm looking forward to most this month! I have a countdown on my desk top... I can't wait. I was really looking forward to it, but when the demo came out... I swear- I've played that demo more than I've played some of the games I've paid money for!! I know it's fairly simple (like Dynasty Warriors) and not nearly as complex as Kingdom Under Fire, but I know what it is about it that makes me so hungry for it- I love the characters! I am SUCH a sucker for great characters and design- I love great battlefield design... cool combos... wow. And this game has it all. And some GREAT special effect spells. I can't wait for this damn game!! 6 days... six long days.
Good thing I can kill Zombies by the hundreds until I can kill goblins by the thousands... :)
After playing the demo, I found N3 to be exactly what I expected. Fast paced hack'n slash strategic gameplay, RPG elements and an immersive story.
I find it funny how some people will throw this game in the pile of "just average hack'n slash" games. Anyone who actually took the time to see what all the demo had to offer can clearly see this game offers more then some boring hack'n slash.
One person mentioned the lack of strategy... There may not be a built in RTS in N3 but the game offers you the chance to use your own strategy in how you approach each scenario. Hmm, do I take out the archers first or the towers? Better yet, let me knock those bolders down that hill and crush them both.
What I find even funnier is the mention of Dead Rising... Heh, I enjoyed the N3 demo far more. (not saying DR isn't going to be a good game as I'm sure it will be)
Ouch. Gamespot.com gives N3 a 5.9/10.0. And really, does it deserve even that? I don't mean to flame (I was really excited for N3), but I can't buy a game where all you're doing is mashing the X button for hours on end. Your mind isn't being challenged at all. Really, is there a better definition of "waste of time"?
