Thanks to japanese ITmedia site here are some new images of Oneechanbara vorteX and Earth Defense Force 3, as already mentioned both games will be published by D3, 14th of December in Japan.
EDF3 doesn't look so bad considering it's from D3, famous for making budget titles. But yeah it's too bad none of their games get released outside of Japan although being that they are doing a first with releasing it on a Outside-of-Japan heavy console they would definitely reach a wider audience if they did, but I'm sure their maket researchers would know better than me if it was worth the expense to do so.

both of these games are incredibly ugly, however EDF does have those semi impressive enormous robots, shame that D3's games are so rough, give the devs a better budget and see if they could turn EDF into a decent full price quality title, instead of bargin bin stuff

EDF certainly isn't the best looking game out there but it's definitely not incredibly ugly. I wouldn't even say it's ugly period. Seriously think some gamers would enjoy their gaming experience more if they didn't base their enjoyment at some impossible standard. And without even playing it how do you know that EDF isn't a decent quality game? Totally groundless opinions.

have you not seen the videos? its very basic, and very iffy, not to mention very ugly, except or the enormous robots as i said, its a quick, cheap game, its to be expected
well, being the huge Oneechanbara fan that I am (I have a Japanese PS2), I e-mailed the D3 Publisher, as they now have an American branch, asking them if these titles will make it to the US. I actually got a reply from them stating there is a GOOD possibility that these 2 titles will make it over here.

and yeah, why Japan just region locks these games is beyond me...
Id played EDF 1 and 2 on my import PS2. Awesome and Fun games. Sure, they arent pretty, but there are tons of enemies on screen and MASSIVE explosions.
