Video PC

We're slowly back to business on Gamersyde and we're actually trying to catch up with the games we've missed in the past few weeks. Return to the Obra Dinn is clearly one of them and we should have told you about it way sooner. Lucas Pope (Papers, Please) is behind the game and once again, the young developer proves his skills when it comes to making great games. This time, you're an investigator trying to understand why the whole crew of the Obra Dinn was found dead. Thankfully, you can use some sort of magic talisman to go back in time and figure out what happened. For some reasons, the game does not run as well as expected on our rig (i9 9900K and GTX 1080 Ti) but we've seen no one else complain about it on the Internet. It's not a game breaker at all obviously, but it's still a bit strange.

This is freaging amazing!

One of the very few where you actually do detective work, interview people, gather evidence, etc. It's not like most modern games, where the game basically plays these sections for you more than you're actually playing them.

PS. What other games do you guys plan on covering?

Makes perfect sense, they should have gone with "RTX 2080 Ti", GTX 1080 Ti is too weak. :P

Seth @KORNdog: yeah i don't see this happen anytime soon. it's why i find funny some people suddenly say ''i'm done, after 25 years with ps, moving to pc''. (4 Hours ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog What WOULD shock me is of Sony turns around and announces day 1 releases of exclusives on PC moving forward. That wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to me. (11 Hours ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog Releasing on PC at that point allows them to make more money while not cannibalising sales on their platform. (11 Hours ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog By the time horizon hits PC it'll be 3 years old. It's bargain bin price on PS4 and it's used game circulation means it's effectively a dead title for Sony and their earnings. (11 Hours ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog @Sdarts: I imagine Sony's plan is release old games on PC at full retail to make money on titles that no longer drive sales or make them much money. (12 Hours ago)

Seth @Sdarts: flying with stormbird mod in Horizon! This is something Guerrilla wanted to have in the game, but it was cut due to limitations of ps4 hardware. (2 Days ago)

Sdarts Just imagine what those modders and the community would do with a PC version.......... *extreme drooling* (2 Days ago)
