GSY Video PC Xbox One

After showing you the PC version of Cuphead, it's time to put the Xbox One version in the spotlight. Although the game is clearly not meant for everyone because of its difficulty, it is a very fun title to discover, provided you can do it in a quiet environment where you can concentrate (having good skill might also help). We now leave you with 4 videos featuring some of the many bosses the game includes.

it looks awesome! but i keep hearing it's inconsistent difficulty and boss rush focus makes it a better game to experience via lets plays than it is to actually play yourself...which is good for my wallet i guess. i'll pick it up at some point down the road.

What does some of this stuff even mean?

Who told you it was inconsistent? And who told you it was better to experience via let's plays? Who has this hold over you that you follow their opinions like the gospel?

I'll tell you that my brother and I had heaps of fun playing it for 5 hours straight and there hasn't been a game this year that we've had more fun playing using couch co-op.

It's about £16 in UK, just buy it and arrive at your own verdict and if you don't like it, just file it under "money-lying-around purchases" along with your PS4 Pro.

Are you saving for something big? Christmas? Going on holiday? Genuine questions.

It's just that it's the start of the month and most people get paid around this time, so seems like a strange time for the old account to go on lock down.

Great game, tried it for a few hours coop at a friends house this weekend. Then went home and bought it myself and played some hours solo.

It was a bit harder in coop imo, more hectic, more happening on the screen, but awesome fun.

Good mix of run 'n gun, flying and boss levels. Half the fun (especially in coop, where we died a lot) was figuring out the patterns and finding the best strategies to eventually defeat the level, sorta like the souls-games.

..and the incredibly well done art isn't hurting either

I don't know if it's been mentioned here, but you can buy this game on GOG too.

I am new to this genre of game type, but it is very difficult. I have played some levels for 2 hours straight and not been able to get past them. I think you have to have a knack for this type of game. I hope they will eventually patch the game to let those who have purchased the game, play the game in its entirety. At this rate, I will never make it past world 1. This is an incredible game visually. Probably the thing that keeps me coming back. Also, I suck at the parry move, so that is detrimental to my gaming.

toelessfoot @Melmoth: They should really sell a controller-less G2, I'd definitely get one. It can be used with Index controllers too. (1 Day ago)

Melmoth An inside-out tracking-solution would make things much simpler. The G2 seems fantastic for sims, but unsure about the controller tracking. (1 Day ago)

Melmoth @toelessfoot: The problem i have with the CV1 is having to move the sensors between two rooms when going from a sim setup to roomscale. So much hassle that i rarely use roomscale at all. (1 Day ago)

Melmoth @nostradamus: i read about it a while ago. Based on the Doom engine. Looked really well made for a fan-game. (1 Day ago)

toelessfoot @Melmoth: Yeah I came from a Rift CV1, kind of wish I hadn't sold it for the good tracking and OLED contrast, not to mention my computer could run more games at its native res. (1 Day ago)
