GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

If you remember, Control had managed to convince us easily thanks to its paced shooting mechanics and great tech so we're quite happy to welcome its first DLC, entitled The Foundation. With a whole new area to explore, one new type of enemy and some new abilities, this new content will reveal its potential in 2 days. Until we can share our verdict with you, we are authorized to show you this edited gameplay footage we recorded with all ray tracing options maxed out.

Thanks for the video. I'm wondering whether I should play this now or wait till the second expansion is out.

If you have any knowledge - and can share this little bit of info, does this first expansion end on a cliffhanger or "to be continued"? Or is the story self contained?

If you haven't finished it yet or can't say, that's okay. Just wondering whether to wait or not.

Are you using DLSS in this video? It kinda has this thickness that I associate with AI upscaling and image sharpening in general. I understand its necessary to get to higher resolutions with all the RT on + maintain 60 fps but I just wanted to ask if its on.

I'm not a fan of this stuff and I hope it doesnt start appearing in the next-gen consoles as standard without a way to turn it off, they keep saying its better than native res but they don't mention the artifacts it creates or the way it changes the overall feel of the art style because at the end of the day its just guessing what should be there so its not perfect, hopefully the newer versions will start to look closer to native res.

I feel like the people that think its "better than native" are the kind of people that say they can't tell the difference between 1440p and 2160p on their 4K displays, they need their eyes checked, or more than likely they just have terrible upscalers in their TVs.

One of my first times commenting so also wanted to be positive and say thanks for providing all these HQ videoes, you guys are basically the only ones doing it at this point! I still can't believe the Elden Ring trailer only has a youtube version and on top of that the english version has offscreen audio from the show it was shown at, horrible! But most people don't notice so they have no reason to do better, sad...

Yes DLSS is on, but as far as I know it's not DLSS 2.0 yet. Maybe later this week.

Finally, someone with eyes! I'm very sensitive to these upscaling and sharpening artefacts, they ruin the whole picture for me.
