During The Game Awards Remedy Games revealed a new trailer of Control to announce the immediate release of the free challenging combat experience mode Expeditions. The trailer also teases The Foundation, the first expansion set to launch March 26th 2020.

A couple of days ago Control received a free update that brought a Photo Mode to the game options. Check inside for some offcial screens that depict what can be done with it.

GSY Review PS4 Xbox One PC

After 2 months of sun and scorching heat, you are about to put your graphics cards and current gen consoles to the test with Remedy's latest, Control. For the occasion, we have prepared a series of high quality videos of both the PC and Xbox One X version of the game, which should allow you to see what RTX can do. We even have a comparison video for those who like to spot the differences. If you don't have enough with all this, then join us tonight at 9 CEST for a special livestream dedicated to the RTX and gameplay features of Remedy's new title.
Note: All our PC videos were captured with the Nvidia drivers released on August 20.

A day before Gamescom opened its doors to the press, we were invited by Nvidia to play a bunch of game using Ray Tracing technology and we were able to bring back some footage for 3 of them. Inside, you will witness how truly impressive Minecraft can look (no irony here), you'll have a sneak peek at Remedy's use of the tech in Control and finally you'll see Wolfenstein: Youngblood patched with RTX. We also got a chance to play a bit of Watch_Dogs 3, whose reflections were pretty amazing, but capture wasn't allowed for this one.

Less than month before the release of Remedy's Control, here is a new story trailer that introduces a new mysterious character in a world where Jesse Faden already has to deal with very weird things.

Remedy will demo a new mission of Control during E3, before that happens, the developer has shared a dozen screenshots that depict new characters and mystery-filled environments. The game is set to launch August 27.

Remedy's Control is set to launch August 27 for PS4, Xbox One and PC (Epic Game Stores) revealed 505 Games yesterday. New screens and a new gameplay trailer showcases new envoronments and Jesse's supernatural abilities. Two expansions (The Foundation and Awe) are panned for late 2019 and 2020. A spreadsheet (one of those that might cause a headache) is available here to know what with each edition offer and what comes with a pre-order.

The new trailer of Remedy's Control deals with the Oldest House, a seemingly ordinary building discovered by Bureau Agents during a case but once inside it defies all the laws from reality.

As an obsessed visitor said during E3 "but where is the trailer of Control?" It's here in great quality (as expected) finally. The new Remedy Games project features main protagonist Jesse Faden, new director of the Federal Bureau of Control, who seeks answers and work with other agents to uncover secrets from cryptic ciphers and discover experiments. Set in New York, the world has dynamic environmental destruction while the character has various abilities and weapons. 505 Games is publishing the game with a 2019 release date.

While waiting for a high quality trailer, here are a few images of Control, to be released in 2019 on Xbox, PS4 and PC. I don't think anyone who played Quantum Break will have any issue recognizing Remedy's engine in action.
