lol, yeah maybe. It wouldn't surprise me.
The sort of official reason it was that the code was really messed up and only barely was working on consoles ( remember that last gen consoles had quite a different architecture than pc unlike ps4/xb1), so they would have to rebuild the game in order to do a pc port. Probably the same reason there is no current gen console remaster either

I'll find it absurd if they're still thinking like that, given the massive success story GTAV-Online is on the PC.
Ah well, I guess I'll have to play RDR2 on PS4 Pro. But they could at least remaster RDR1 for the current consoles.
