just started this and I guess I'm round 3 hours. It feels like I'm only lightly scratching at the surface regards to content and sheer scope of things to do but more importantly it's all so much more a magical feeling from a game than I've had perhaps ever. The last game to truly bowl me over in the way that this is currently was Halo1 just in terms of how fresh and impactful the experience felt and still does in fact. Some very good design choices have been made to this Zelda that change the formula into something far more than it could ever have been as it was. Only this far in I'm utterly surprised how ridiculously great the experience has been so far

I'm playing on my WiiU. The game is so good that I can tolerate its <30 FPS drops. It has a 'Shadow of the Colossus' vibe that I love. Can't wait to keep exploring.

at least till the first golem fight, it hardly feels like shaow of the colossus.

The "imput" and movement don't have any inertia animation on it.

The colossus fight didn't make the ground tremble, didn't make your "unbalance" animation kick in, didn't make cracks on the gound it impacted ... SotC first boss seemed and seems a whole generation ahead from the golem. even the golem design is generic as hell. can be a good thing, as it really just seems like a big rock.

It looked more like a Darksiders bossfight with MMO slow molases. But I loved it, and the fact that its hard as nails.

The Legend of Zelda Breath Of The Wild is an amazing game everyone who plays video games should play it and own it.

I only wish the Switch had a Tegra X2 in it :( I am playing it on the Wii U and both have performance issues(a friend has the Switch version).

Still its not that bad(for PC standards it be unacceptable though, it does drop to the 20s) you can totally ignore it, for the rest is that good. The game is so engrossing that it won't bother you there is just so much you can do in the game and the world is amazing(crafted to perfection). I always still go to my self what would it be like on better hardware? I bet it be insane, all well.

jmd749 @nostradamus: Yes, Talos Principle is one of those overlooked gems of a game. For my 2nd play through I started it in VR using my Oculus, havn't got very far. I'd highly recommend it to any puzzle fan (7 Hours ago)

nostradamus something? F. right off. no can do, mein Führer. (7 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus some pacing and life. I don't mind the puzzle zones trigger some quiet time, all fine and dandy, but the awfull back and forth in the whole island withou a melodic sound? even crafted in the game or (7 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus first thing i did for the "no music" The Witness was give a middle finger to Blow, and use MP3 or youtube to stream so classic composers, and give the dull game world (every one is dead how original) (7 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus and its funny as hell how thsi game has some organ/gregorian chorus (picks up in the key moments) for the soundtrack. it's sublime (these are the dudes who made sesious sam?! L.o.l.) (7 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus the dev's walking sim "now you get it" to appreciate a good puzzle. Still love The Witness, but i like direct simplicity more. (7 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus it even has the whole Tetronimo thingy going on. its way more barebones (mixture of its own game or a mod even) but its a breath of fresh air to take a puzzle game that doesn't make you suffer through (7 Hours ago)
