If you've managed not to play Resident Evil 4 in the past 9 years, despite the fact that the game was released on Gamecube, PS2, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, then Capcom is giving you a chance to catch up with the Ultimate HD Edition of the game on PC. Trailer inside.

Will get this for sure at a Steam sale.
I can understand the confusion since you're used 600p or whatever ;)
PC gamers in general are much more knowledgeable about things like resolution and frame rates. This feels like a advertisement for casual console players.
It's a port with support for HD resolutions, what's s freaking hard to understand about that? It's not like we were ever promised anything else. If you don't like it, then don't bloody buy it.
HD is, by definition, 1080p. It's generally a TV-standard i suppose, but all PC gamers knows what it means too. There is no argument here.

It's current usage started around the the release of the Xbox 360 and is commonly used for anything over 720P.

HD ready = 720p, full HD = 1080p. Less applicable to PC monitors, but still. If a game is marketed as "HD" you can expect it to fully support 1080p and probably above on PC.
Also, because i'm a nitpicky asshole, it says high Definition Graphics on top of SOME genesis models. Not on the Megadrive :P
That said, I think this game is best played with a GC controller so I'll stick with Wii ver

By the way, those saying its graphics haven't been improved, you'd better go and play the ps2 version and then check this out or the 360 version and you'll see that the difference is huge!
Oh, and I'd never recommend playing this with the Gamecube version, the 360 controller is perfect for the game, and a million times better than gamecube's or Wii's gamepad.
Too bad REmake won't happen, because of...Nintendo. Capcom would've been ported it already if there wasn't exclusivity deal. :/
Did nintendo publish it on GC? Whoever has the ability to port that baby with decent AA and potentially re-rendered backdrops. They need to get on it. BE it nintendo on the Wii-U or capcom themselves for every platform under the sun.
