Very nice.
They got all the aspects of Yakuza1 and made it 100 times awesomer (new word :p).

Any word on Yakuza2 release outside Japan yet (i.e: non-Japanese version)?

One of the games I would buy if I had a PS3, and Killzone 2, MGS4 and FFXIII of course. The game looks very nice, detailed and full of features. Reminds me the Shenmue games

the trailer is awesome - I hope SEGA is finally back on track with this title and makes it a superb game , for it has a lot of potential and it would be a real shame if it was wasted

Looks to be a pretty nice game. Sweet action (was good in Yakuza), decent story (judging form the first Yakuza), nice graphics and hot ladies! Can't go wrong.

The hip hop crap in the beginning turned me off though. Me no like.

Why the hell does it have alien cow abductions?

Game looks excellent though, like a cross between Samurai Champloo and Onimusha. Looking forward to it.

never a positive from your written words eh?

Using the inspiration of Musashi Miyamoto is much more interesting. The story of miyamoto's life is far far more interesting than Shenmue's story

I disagree and many non Japanese people would also (as they wouldn't know who Mushashi Miyamoyo is), but this game is directed at Japan in general so I guess some of what you say is true.

Sega seems to think, and I agree, that Americans prefer a feudal Japan setting than a modern one. Most in the West won't know the story of Musashi Miyamoto, but lots of people like Samurai and Ninjas and that sort of thing way better than many themes.

??

Sega aren't thinking at all for the western gamer on this project, or the previous ones, proof of that is that Yakuza 2 is still yet to be released outside of Japan, there is a version planned but they really are taking their time.

This game also won't do anywhere near the same sales as the previous games due to the PS3 userbase being a lot less, so I'm not expecting this to be localised at all really, guess time will tell though.

Someone at Sega already stated this one might come over for the very reason I stated above.

PS3 userbase is less, but it still may very well be the best selling PS3 title in Japan when it comes out (and then some).

There's a lot more to localizing decisions than just seeing how well a game sells in one country, but personally I will be importing this one anyways.

I bet if it were sold in the US it will sell better than the first Yakuza, since it sold terrible here. That's why they took so long to localize Yakuza 2, but I completely expect to see Yakuza 3 here in the states, and I can't wait! It looks awesome.

Look good.

There seems to be many crazy and fun things in that game. You got flying on a glider, turlte racing, rat eating, and seducing women. To top it all off you also have great combat fighting not to mention a great story. This game seems to be a complete package of fun. :)
