Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)

Very surprising that a Japanese consoles isn't releasing in japan till feb next year when its hitting here in November. How times have changed. Nowhere was that demonstrated more by the visual quality of the Japanese games shown here which look several generations behind at times not just one.
Deep down looked pretty disappointing all round. Not just the visual downgrade, which I guess was to be expected, but it simply looks like they've literally mashed Darksouls and assassins creed together.
And please tell me that's not Nolan north voicing watchdogs??

The game looks true next gen, The best fire fx seen so far on any platform, dragons with high quality shaders, tessellation, true hdr lighting, high poly characters. There was no visual downgrade.
Shame skyrim had such crap looking dragons.
Rest assured it still looks impressive, although strange concept.

Oh. And there is a reason my taste in games bothers you so much. But i'll let you work that one out for yourself ;)
Unless it's sony exclusive you take great delight in doing the internet thing of picking away at to anal levels. Funny stuff.

Also. GTAV screen weeks before release, after the game has gone gold. Compared to 2 games that are still in development, one of which continues to improve and looks to be shaping up well. If deep down releases a screenshot a week before release with a fucking axis arrow in shot. Trust me. Id be making as big a deal about that too.
And it's not like we haven't seen gameplay footage of GTA5 before.
But you're correct it is different, One (GTA5) does the standard PR bullshot thing where they brushed up pictures from the actual game. Where as the other (which sony do a lot of) pass off video footage as the actual game when its not.
And yet Rockstar you rightly or wrongly can nolonger trust, but sony you'd trust with a gun to your head. If you cant see the hypocrisy in your posts then nothing I write is gonna have you do so, but don't be surprised when people call you up on it
But if you're going to have principles about something you really should carry those principles to all games, not give free passes to games that carry a sony exclusive sticker. As then posts just end up comedic..which is fine, but soon there's always that danger of becoming boring.
I'm just looking out for you baby!
When people make statements like that, but tend to not notice the linear slow paced nature of the four-walled dungeon crawling theme of the game that permits "Tons of dynamic effects, amazing shaders, awesome textures, "thick" atmosphers. Jaw dropping lighting", in some cases it throws integrity into question.
I think Infamous SS is probably the best example of next gen that manages to find that sweet spot and to me looks the most impressive.
But in all honesty I'm not fussed, just felt like responding to that generalisation as part of the general pool on gamersyde.
To conclude: MG: Rising was my favourite game this year and one of the most intense battle systems I have had the pleasure of experiencing, yet I will always admit where it's flaws are, which is what I think bleachedsmiles has a veiled problem with where your zealous praise of Deep Down is concerned.
When it comes to graphics "compromise" is not a word i want to associate with a game. And sadly open world games, even the impressive looking ones, are inherently compromised.
