Here is the second part of the making SSX video blog series dealing with the tricks and gameplay physics of the game, also very few seconds of pre-alpha gameplay.
My fear with SSX is that it all seems to well thought out and that's more of a generational trait than anything else. With games costing so much, refinements are essential but the PS2 era bred real creativity and it showed in the games, SSX 3 being one of them.
We will soon see if all this foreplanning still leaves flexibility for traversal and tricks and just pure senseless fun, I don't want my fun to be planned or should I say I don't want to feel like it is, SSX 3 nailed that amongst other things :).

I like the part where they show how rigid and impassable the level design is in areas of the old games compared to what they are foreplanning in the new game to add flexibility for traversal and tricks and just pure senseless fun.
I hate when they talk about the next video. "We don't so much to say so let's see, in the next video we will talk about the different environments and blaa blaa blaa". It's like a american tv-show. Next show probably starts with those exact same words.. BLah. Not too much content in these...
