Dotemu and Lizardcube have revealed Floyd Iraia, the fifth playable character of Streets of Rage 4 and also announced the support of 2-player coop online and for the first time in the series, up to 4 players coop locally.

That is some awesome music. :) And the new guy is like a blend of Max and Zan from previous games.

This just keeps getting better and better. I really like Floyd's design, the way he has this goofy expression when holding those two thugs in the first image and that powerful arm cannon.

Reminds me of Mortal Kombat's Jax, which is a very good thing. Now to decide who I will start with in my first playthrough, was set on Cherry Hunter, the woman with the guitar, but might go with Floyd.

Local and online co-op is really cool as well, will be greqat to play with friends both locally and online. This is looking like it will be a very great game. I hope it is and ressurects the Fighting Brawler genre. I'm sure many developers would be able to create some crazy stuff nowadays.
