Gamersyde becoming more and more GT5syde everyday, you will not be surprised to see we are once again talking about the very highly-anticpated - understatement - Gran Turismo 5 on our homepage. No homemade video this time though, we are proposing you a little break with this avalanche of images taken from the game. Enjoy!

I love that this will include obscure and quirky old vehicle choices, I really like the looser steering feel of these older types.

You can finally repaint your car too...about time.

Thats what i was originally thinking but after taking a closer look, i think it may just be some horrible looking soap effect as they are washing the car. I could be wrong though :)

Actually, he's right. Considering all of the water kicking up from the wheels, the road on this level doesn't look very wet and reflective, like in the night stage. It looks pretty awkward to me. Hopefully it'll be in the final game.

Open your eyes budy and you will see. Also i can't understand why on earth do you need "4 dudes" washing the car in a video game. There's a lot of things i'd like to see in this game, just not a carwash. :)

Thankfully, it is not developed by spacemanjupiter games with 16 sprites travelling round a photo-realistic, tree infested, magical island with HD squirrels making mischief in the branches. Although, that does sound good...

Fucking SWEET! This game just blows the lid off 'reality experience'. Those environments, fog, water & particle systems are going to be impossible to beat in other racing sims. Someday when we all have 2880i HD-HD gaming, this will be the benchmark by which they just those TVs.

I just love how they pushed back release of this by years when forza3 came out. No wonder. That prologue felt like garbage compared to it. Lets just hope f4 wont come out anytime soon so these guys wont be embarassed. Epic moneypit for sony anyways :)

See, this is why i hate polyphony and like Turn10 and Bizzare; they take for-fucking-ever to release their game, and for waht? having the official volkswagen hippie-mobile in there? Who is EVER going to want to drive that piece of shit, more than maybe like once or twice for laughs? Just cut all teh shit cars out, focus on getting the fancy sports cars that people actually do want to drive right and release the goddamn game. We don't want gokarting, nascar, veteran cars and volkswagon mini-buses, we just want goddamn racing!

Also the trees look bloody awful. Like noticeable while driving awful. Why can't people just go for the speed-tree version with sprites instead of alpha mapped planes? And if you are going to do alpha mapped planes, for fucks sake, use more than two planes per tree! It's not like the PS3 can't spit out enough polygons.
