GSY Video Xbox One

After the PS4 yesterday it's finally time for the Xbox One version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to get its own videos. And just like yesterday, there videos are captured with the 1.01 version of the game (588 MB patch), we do not know yet if this is the one which will be available on Tuesday, or if another patch will be available by then with some fixes for the framerate...

Two more videos are currently encoding.

The game looks very good but darker color tone would fit it better, I would say.

I can see the 900p, even from videos. I'm not sure why some people claim to not see a difference. It's there.

Ps4 definitely cleaner like foliage, leaves, grass, im definitely getting ps4 version, but xbox version still nice, if i only had xbox one id still be happy, they should give xbox a option 900p or 1080p for better FPS as it does both with dynamic resolution

I can two, people definitely lie about not seeing a difference, 900p upscaled to 1080p looks a bit blurry and 720p is just wrong

Then you can go ahead and call me a liar, but i had a very very hard time seeing any difference in the comparison video and when i compared the last video from this article to the last video in the PS4 videos article, i could barely see it, Even NXgamer's analysis says you can be easily fooled into thinking it's native 1080p. it looks that good.

You can only see it, because you were told to look for it and you're looking for something. It's not like the difference between 30fps / 60fps.

Sometimes I wish developers would stop talking about stats and focus on the actual game, so people can cease all this "blast-processing" schoolyard bickering.

The people who claim to not see the difference are the people who don't have the means to play it at it's native res. it's that simple. If you can honestly say a 900p game like unity doesn't look soft as shit next to something native like infamous then you're either blind or a liar.

It always amazes me that there's a "no trolling" disclaimer on Gamersyde (I think even back when it was Xboyxide), but you still persist Korn. ;)

Anyway... can you compare apples to apples. Comparing Infamous to Unity isn't fair. Totally different engine, teams, art directors, post effects.

Yeah. I also bought a PS4 and im in awe at the 1080p jaggies and janky framerates. Win win for me this gen!

It depends on games COD, GTA IV, Midnight LA, Crysis all these games on PS3 I can tell just by looking is not sharp and can easily guess it is sub HD. I do not have xbox or xbone but alan wake IQ looks very soft so easy to guess it is sub hd. ryse looks sharp for 900p I guess. Witcher 3 is have nice art so I do not think it will matter much. The resolution thing I guess is ok rather than missing gfx affect and easy for dev to scale
