Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)

If anything, I'd say this would make you want to play the 1st and 2nd to take him down another journey.
I like this vid, it set up a world a bit for people who never red books, ofc is very very simplified.
I would say, at least play Witcher 2 first. Its story is simply fantastic. A lot of intrigue and the dialogue is stellar. It also sets you up for the third game. In Witcher 1, Geralt barely remembered the memories he lost. In Witcher 2, his memories begin to return and when they finally do, it sets up his motivation for the Witcher 3.
Right now, I'm currently going through the books series. I finished The Last Wish and not I'm over halfway through The Sword of Destiny. And I've got 5 more to read after this. Apparently, reading the books after playing Witcher 2 is a good thing since Witcher 3 has 2 new major characters (or not so new since they appear in the books) joining the cast that had major roles in the books.

Also, the trailer is interesting, but i kinda wish it made a better job of explaining one of the cooler things about the witcher universe; the conjunction of the spheres :)
Personally since I've had both games since launch I'd rather have them focus on creating new games rather than putting money and resources porting/remaking their old ones.
