GSY Review PC PS4 Xbox One

A bit more than a year after its PS4 release, NieR: Automata has finally reached the shores of Microsoft's console, just in time to allow you to spend the best summer ever. If you've never truly be interested in the game because it was not originally announced on Xbox One, you have some catching up to do with our verdict and 2 gameplay videos. Enjoy!

Verdict

While the gaming media is mostly occupied with the release of the Nintendo Switch, alongside the remarkable Legend of Zelda, and the technical masterpiece Horizon: Zero Dawn, NieR: Automata deserves a spot right between these two mastodons. With its varied gameplay, rich background and plot, incredible soundtrack, and highly energetic battles, the game has a lot going for it – something even its technical quibbles can't overshadow. With exceptional results, Yoko Taro and Platinum Games come together to remind gamers everywhere that Japanese developers can still deliver a great experience for players of all ages.
