State of Play returns Tuesday, June 2 with a new look at Marvel's Wolverine and over 60 minutes of news and announcements for games coming to PlayStation 5.

Following an early access phase, version 1.0 of Nitro Gen Omega was released on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC last month. After playing this new turn-based RPG with a rather distinctive aesthetic, we’re sharing our video of the first hour of gameplay, recorded on Nintendo Switch.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will launch on October 23, 2026, and be available on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, but it will not be available on PlayStation 4 or XBOX One. This first trailer shows the campaign, but we’re particularly keen to see what the various multiplayer modes have in store for us, as well as the DMZ which will receive a dedicated video on June 7.

Eclipse Glow Games has today published a new behind-the-scenes development video for Tides of Annihilation, showcasing the latest progress on the game's universe and their use of Unreal Engine 5. The game is currently being developed for PC for both Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5.

We’ve already shared videos of the excellent Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly on Gamersyde, so there was no way we were going to miss the release of the third one : Coffee Talk Tokyo. Luna Abyss is an action-adventure game in which you follow Fawkes journey and explore a strange and intriguing world, whilst enjoying bullet-hell-style combat. The game is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, and here is the first hour of gameplay from the PC version.

Bitter is a desert planet riddled with the refuse left behind by an interstellar war. 45 years ago, the war suddenly ended when all of the spaceships crashed onto Bitter for reasons unknown. Now, a young salvager named Lukida hopes to escape this planet, but a sudden attack by a giant robot sets events into motion that will change her life. Starbites is an RPG developed by Ikinagames, and we’ve captured a video showing the first 40 minutes of the game.

The release of 007 First Light this week is a bit of a milestone for all the reasons we mention in the very first paragraph of this new in-house review, but for us, it’s above all the immense satisfaction of having been able to finish the adventure just in time to share our detailed impressions with you. It was a real marathon that we don’t regret at all, even though it was intense. 007 First Light is set to release in two days, but while you have to wait a bit more to find out our final verdict tomorrow afternoon, we’re pleased to share the first thirteen minutes of the adventure with you. IO Interactive released this new video to build anticipation for the launch, showcasing all the work that went into proving the studio is fully capable of producing carefully staged, scripted experiences.
