To say that Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns was the unexpected release of this month would be quite an understatement, but fans of the original will probably be very happy to be given a chance to play the game again in both Retro and Classic modes. The Kingdom mode, which transforms the iconic game into a deckbuilding roguelike, is however the most interesting one, with more playability. As it's not exactly a genre we are accustomed to, it's hard to tell you how it fares compared to the best games relying on such mechanics, but it's a new way to discover Defender of the Crown for sure. If you want more information on the game, our detailed verdict is available on the French side. The video you'll find inside will show you the three different modes in action.

In just over a week, Mafia: The Old Country will receive a DLC titled Man of Honor, which will unlock two new chapters in the story. We’re taking advantage of the summer break to catch up on one of the most anticipated remakes of early 2027, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. Since a new Dev Diary video has just been released, we’ve included the four previous ones as well. If you’re like us, you’re bound to be curious about this reimagining of the 1997 cult classic, but it’s hard not to feel a little worried knowing that the original featured challenging platforming sections. The 2007 Anniversary remake didn’t shy away from that legacy, but it was released before the Uncharted series shook things up and the franchise launched by Eidos in the late ’90s eventually followed suit.
