Following its appearance at Summer Game Fest, SEGA of America and RGG Studio have provided a more in-depth look at Virtua Fighter Crossroads, which is set for release in 2027. Here is the game’s showcase and the extended version of the story trailer.
The Future Games Show: Summer Showcase 2026 gave us a chance to see some new trailers and a few announcements, but what we’ll remember most is the in-depth presentation of one of our most awaited titles: Exodus.
Here is the replay of Summer Game Fest 2026, along with almost all the trailers shown during the event. There's quite a lot of interesting stuff to discover if you missed it.
As a sequel to the excellent Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten which we showed you three years ago, Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered is now available on PC. Here are the first 45 minutes of the game in our video.
Annapurna Interactive continues to release Switch 2 versions of its catalogue, and the latest game to be ported to Nintendo’s latest console is none other than Stray. Here are the first 40 minutes of gameplay in our 4K video, giving you a chance to see some stunning visuals in docked mode. We did have to give up 60 frames per second and settle for 30 frames per second, but that didn't really bother us during our session.
There was a time when Konami reigned supreme in the hearts of soccer gamers, when PES outshone FIFA, and only the lack of licenses could do it any harm. Today, FIFA is no more, replaced by its carbon copy EA FC, and PES has become a free-to-play game called eFootball. After deciding to release a paid version (for €/$19.99) on Switch 2, featuring a substantial number of leagues, two mini-games (admittedly not very exciting), the option for six-player matches on smaller fields, and accessible gameplay, we hope that the Japanese publisher will, in the future, once again consider investing in a premium soccer game to bring some competition to the market. This eFootball Kick-Off is actually quite fun to play, but it is technically and visually disappointing (the grass looks pretty bad, players are sometimes hard to recognize, and there are occasional stutters right after kickoff), and the skill level of the goalkeepers and defenders is clearly not high enough to satisfy the most experienced players.
State of Play returns Tuesday, June 2 with a new look at Marvel's Wolverine and over 60 minutes of news and announcements for games coming to PlayStation 5.
Following an early access phase, version 1.0 of Nitro Gen Omega was released on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC last month. After playing this new turn-based RPG with a rather distinctive aesthetic, we’re sharing our video of the first hour of gameplay, recorded on Nintendo Switch.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will launch on October 23, 2026, and be available on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, but it will not be available on PlayStation 4 or XBOX One. This first trailer shows the campaign, but we’re particularly keen to see what the various multiplayer modes have in store for us, as well as the DMZ which will receive a dedicated video on June 7.
