Annapurna Interactive continues to release Switch 2 versions of its catalogue, and the latest game to be ported to Nintendo’s latest console is none other than Stray. Here are the first 40 minutes of gameplay in our 4K video, giving you a chance to see some stunning visuals in docked mode. There was a time when Konami reigned supreme in the hearts of soccer gamers, when PES outshone FIFA, and only the lack of licenses could do it any harm. Today, FIFA is no more, replaced by its carbon copy EA FC, and PES has become a free-to-play game called eFootball. After deciding to release a paid version (for €/$19.99) on Switch 2, featuring a substantial number of leagues, two mini-games (admittedly not very exciting), the option for six-player matches on smaller fields, and accessible gameplay, we hope that the Japanese publisher will, in the future, once again consider investing in a premium soccer game to bring some competition to the market. This eFootball Kick-Off is actually quite fun to play, but it is technically and visually disappointing (the grass looks pretty bad, players are sometimes hard to recognize, and there are occasional stutters right after kickoff), and the skill level of the goalkeepers and defenders is clearly not high enough to satisfy the most experienced players.
