We were really excited about the WILL: Follow the Light demo a few months ago, but after a ninety-minute Gamersyde Offline session in French, we came away with rather mixed feelings—even before we found out that the full adventure actually lasts barely four hours in total. Of course, it’s entirely possible that what follows the tedious city segment gets more interesting, but we have to admit that the experience of this narrative setup left us somewhat unimpressed. The actors’ lack of engagement, the unnecessary drags that set in right after the very nice introduction (featured in the demo), and the uninspiring puzzles eventually wore down our patience. In short, if you’re interested in the game, we recommend checking out what those who have a broader perspective on what it has to offer have to say about it.
