good question............it's a mision impossible, the only way to do that is to let him die...but you don't want to have the Donald duck fanclub running at you with bats :)

But looking at the teaser it does look like it's not going to be something for kids anymore. Someone dies in that teaser (at least seems like it).

Well, I'm old school. Lion King to me isn't neccessarily a film for kids exclusively. Themes that are in there appeal to all ages and the same is true with KH.

On the flipside, making a game with Mickey Mouse and Goofy that specifically isn't for kids seems a wee bit retarded. :)

Good point Simon, I still enjoy watching disney movies, but I do think they should stop with the computer animation movies.

I've bin reading rumors now that Sora and co. might not be in KH3, apperantly Nomura said something about it in a interview. Would kinda suck if they weren't in 3.

I enjoyed watching Cars, it is a fun movie. Finding Nemo was okay...never seen Incredibles. Some of the Disney 3D movies are good, but still the old classics are the best.

Recently they are missing the right touch. The movies are good but theyre missing something that the old ones have.

Well, I think the main issue is that they're not timeless like they used to be. They don't really have a strong message or story at their core, and they're way too contemporary in their themes and content. Pop culture references for the god damn lose.

Classics like The Lion King, Aladdin and Beauty and The Beast had tongue in cheek humour for sure, but they weren't brimming with Matrix spoofs and that made a huge difference.

Shrek is great, granted, but who the hell even remembers the plot in those films? And if we don't, how are people supposed to in 10 years?

Skrek was awesome, Disney must feel stupid they passed on that. That franchise made tons.


However, I will agree they lost their touch. You can still play any of the old classics today, and you get the same type of reactions as you did when the movie first released back in the day. It's like the first time you went to Disney World or Disneyland as a kid, that same type of big eyed, jaw dropping feeling, could be experienced when watching the classics.


also, no mention of the Pan man? No Peter Pan? Thread fails!

It's bin a long time since I saw Peter Pan, great movie no doubt about that.
But what about the movies like :

Fox and the Hound, Jungle Book, The Black Cauldron, Robin Hood, The sword in the stone, The great mouse detective, The Rescuers, and the tv series :rescue Rangers, ducktales and Darkwing duck.

Looking back at this KH2 kinda sucked, they went back to the same worlds, while they have so many movies that would make perfect worlds for KH.
I hope they use some of these in the next.

As a kid i hated Disney classics, but now it's quite different.

Jungle book, pinocchio and peter pan used to bore me to death as a kid.

I would say Snow White is personally. (odd how snow white never appeared in either Kingdom Hearts games)

Edit:- oh i forgot she was one of the princesses .. but i meant as in a level/world.
