Now THIS could be a killer app. "First person eater" hahaha. This is not really a game, but an experience.

Procedural meh, but good use of the technology for the game theme. World from other players? Now that is cool and guarantees A LOT of diversity.

This should appeal to a ton of gamers and casuals.

Like a mix of Sega's Seaman, Pockemon, Legos, Sims, RPG, Race Car tuning, Populace, Black and White, Sim City, etc all in one! Not enough action/control for me, but looks like interesting strategy game worth trying.

LOVE the 3D globe. Loved the 3D galaxy system as well. Why FPS have not used Globes (or even solar systems!) and games like Reach for the Stars, Spaceward Ho, MOO, etc have not used 3D galaxies I do not know.

Nice to see someone FINALLY challenging the boundaries!

I hope the 360 gets this AND other devs take note.

This video is like a year old, but yeah it does have potential, doesn't appeal to me I need a story to push me through a game.

But i imagine it will do pretty well ..

You are pickier than I am! Traditional RPGs + Platform games seem to be about it for you!

As much as I love good stories in games, I would rather have no story than a bad one with cheesy acting. And some of the best games have no story at all.

Spore does seem to have a story though... you are a single celled creature with ambitions to rule the universe! Now if that ain't a story worthy checking out I don't know what is! ;)

I am too poor to own a 360... therefor I play with paper statistics. The results of my indepth scientific anaylisis determined the most important benchmark is Pi. As in The Ring of Light.

Yeah that is about it, although i do like beat em ups too..

I am a traditional console gamer i suppose.. (back in my day there was none of these war games and FPS) lol

Looks awsome..sort of the ultimate God Game from the ultimate God Game developer..I look forward to it.

Back in my day, we didn't have these pesky stories getting all up in our gameplay! ;P I'm just teasing though..I do appreciate a good story from time to time--but gameplay will always come first..Ironically enough, the only 360 game I own so far that even has a story is played out in the first person perspective :)

That will change soon, I'm sure..but everything else I own thus far is pretty arcade inspired, except for Condemned. PGR3, RR6, and DOA4..all play directly to my arcade sensibilities. Some may claim that DOA4 has a story--but it's more of an excuse for pretty movies..

imo Geowars has the most moving story on the system..I cried when the purple square died.
