You've been making sideways personal comments for a long time now. Do you really need me to go back and do a personal history for you? You can pretend to take the high road. I try to contribute to this community. Even if sometimes things don't turn out like that ShenMue3 trademark reneweal, I do it with my best intention. If something is a rumour, I call it that.

More sideways, passive aggressive negativity. You are great at pretending. That is not the high road.

So about Shenmue: I wonder how big of a market that will draw. Does it have the big nostalgia pull that some long lost franchises do? Or has it been too long and have most gamers moved on? I'd love to see it come back, but I've always had a soft spot for Sega.

For me, it's a big deal. But I'm 38. Will it be a big deal for 16 to 25 year olds? I don't know ... but I don't know the usual nextgen-console gamers age as well. It is a big deal for hardcore fans, not the casual gamer.

doc I gotta be real here for a sec, you are losing this argument and almost everything he's saying is accurate. Take a look in the mirror before you go judging other people and try giving them your "advice" about their "negativity." You are insufferable 85% of the time.

Anyways, to keep this on topic I HIGHLY question what the actual market is for another Shenmue game.. its all nostalgia at this point, and I don't even know how you can make one of those games in 2015 without it turning into a GTA clone or something.

No chance that they're making another Shenmue game ever again, I'd bet on it

This. I think Shenmue series have enough of a follow to be worth a release, but I think Sega should do a re released first on Shenmue 1 and 2 to test the waters first.

I loved Shenmue 1 & 2. Played them when I still went to school. The atmosphere was so awesome. No other game managed to let me dive as deelpy into its universe and story. Lovely characters as well. I was a Lucky Hit addict, even built one myself in RL, lol. But I dont know if I would enjoy another Shenmue equally, because as unique as games are, I think they would be too slow paced and too time consuming for my current amount of free time...

Seems watchdogs, while looking pretty damn shite on everything, PC included, looks especially bad on the xbone. Lower res, no AO, more pixilated shadows...and i'm going to guess a worse framerate too? (But DF will answer that one) how do ubisoft struggle so much with games that look so poor?

Regardless of how crappier it looks on Xbox One, this game looks crap on every single platform (except PC).

I think it looks good, bad in some spots, but the problem is its so inconsistent and difficult to reproduce the footage they've shown.

Publishers could just avoid all this drama if they didn't use target renders and super PC specs.

I genuinely believe that GTAV on 360/PS3 looks as good as (at times, even better than) Watch Dogs on XONE/PS4.

It looks decent at night but it's borderline embarrassing during the day.

Having said that, it's reviewing a lot better than I had anticipated.

Are you kidding me ? There is a PS3, 360 version too which is probably comparable to GTAV.

The whole resolution thing is disappointing and it is cross gen game so porting and using high assets for new consoles they have f*cked it up But it still looks good definitely not bad by any stretch of imagination.

None of the stuff in that video has anything to do with resolution. Take another look. I just find it very sad that a lot of these "next gen" games are so behind the times. I see more shiny, and higher res, but absolutely nothing else. Relative to what these new consoles are capable of, this game looks pathetic. When GTAIV (or X game) came out, we were impressed by it for lots of reasons, much of what you can see in that video.
