By the way, this reminds me: It'd really be great if we could arrange a Gamersyde meeting some day. I would love to meet most of you guys one time. Although we are argueing quite a lot, it really is a fine community. Too bad this probably won't ever happen :((

Update: it should happen in France (Paris for example), in honor of being a french site. Hotels are cheap there, I've heard ;))

I'm no trademarks genius but I'm guessing studios usually do this well before they start work. If it is real we might not having anything other than a teaser at E3.

While I agree Grift is definitely being his usual dildo self, a good portion of the stories you post do turn out to be tripe.

Lots of other outlets are reporting this though, but the Gamepur source doesn't seem too legit. However, GAF says the Shenmue trademark was just going to renew anyway this year, so that might have been what happened. Gamepur's E3 2014 speculation was just that, speculation most likely. So I'm not going to get as excited as if they'd trademarked Shenmue 3, so as far as a new Shenmue game at E3 this probably is tripe :\.

That said, I don't blame you for this one at all.
