Comparing cars, phones, televisions, radios, motorcycles - take your pick - is fine but a box that sits in your living room is childish? Maybe to the fervor with which some people get physically sick from seeing it yes, but in a single thread? The whole reason this thread was setup was to keep it off the front and every page of this site. Some people just can't handle it and act like adults - yourself included.

Twitter allows you to use your full name but that's typically already in use by someone else. If your name is John Smith you aren't going to be able to have @JohnSmith.

That is just stating the obvious. And it's not just ESRAM... The GPU gap is a real thing.

And no, graphics aren't everything.. but actual performance increases consumer value more than a kamera.

If graphics were everything, the Wii U wouldn't be more appealing than next-gen.

if you check out that Rasheed guy's twitter, you'll see that his tweets are mostly about microsoft (xbox and windows, and exclusively negative at that), while his sony tweets are all positive. It's just to transparent. I'd never take anyone like that seriously, no matter which "side" they were on.

Thruway is a trusted source on gaf (along with mort who broke the 720p COD and DC delay...see not positive for sony), and honestly, how can you have positive leaks when it's MS related.

This is the thing. People cry bias, but the fact is, MS just haven't done anything good for a long time. People ask these "insiders"... "why aren't you posting any negative sony news" answer...because there is barely any to post.

Ultimately though, it's a rumour...isn't that what this thread is for?

you just said the magic word.. negativity. Seems like people are obsessed with reapeating the same things over and over again. I can almost imagine some people have a checklist they tick out for "wins", and won't stop till they've convinced the rest of the world that everything on the list is best. I'm pretty sure that after the launch there will be fighting over which headset has the best quality foam, which console has the finest textured surface and all that.

I do have a nagging suspcion that BOTH (PS4, Xbone) online features will be pretty fucked up. Why? I do believe BOTH consoles was trying to base their online around the whole DMR thingie....Sony was just smarter to not announce this. Think about it. Have we seen ANY online walkthroughs of any next gen games multiplayer in action? Of course, I could be completely wrong in my assumption.

What are you on about? Did I say comparison wasn't fine? I was talking about the persistent rumors, shit slinging, and general negativity surrounding the launches of these things. It's a pissing contest before they've even landed. Forget the games. Those are secondary. All the fun and excitement of anticipating these things seems to be getting replaced by nit picking rumors, turning it into something that it potentially isn't and passing it off as facts, and generally blowing everything all out of proportion.
