And why not? The only reason to get bent out of shape over which console is better is if you.. care which console is better. You'll get more games than you actually have time to play on any platform.

Valid sources on how these products work makes for better consumer awareness. If you want to stick your head in the sand and just buy them day one okay. Discussing games for their gameplay is what the rest of this site is for. This thread is for discussing how they run and IF they run as officially stated.

If you can't discuss these topics without personal bias or emotion, leave the thread. And this thread is about discussion, not debate on whether or not discussion should be held. You can't change the game because you don't like the score.

Apparently MS can't record a live demo of their own OS...pretty convenient. Goes with that guys tweets to phil spencer saying if you tried to go to the UI at this xbox tour you'd lose your turn. Hmmm, interesting.

That's pretty daming about their OS must be pretty fucked up. How can Microsoft be sued by their own company for giving a live presentation of their own UI? Damn.

People have shown it at shows though. Even jeff gurstmann (urgh) has said he's more confident of PS4's UI working as intended just because he's seen more of it.

The last time the bones OS was shown live it was a mess (think it was right after the reveal)

It's to do with the content on the ui. Basically adds, tv shows, movies etc. they say they have no licences to show them...but my argument...why not just have content on there you are allowed to show. Sony has probably shown more because they have no adds on their home screen...and it seems to work.

I think TIz was recently at some event and he seemed to have access to the PS4 UI, said it was fast. Don't recall him checking it for the bone.

So doesn't sound like it's been hidden away from prying eyes

No one should be shocked if the Xbox has software issues at launch. Do you really think the DRM 180 has no consequences? It was not as simple as flipping a damn switch.
