Since 7141 DaysThen there's the fact that Halo has so much potential to draw upon with all the fantastic fiction out there. The other day a friend of mine was surprised to find out that the Halo Universe isn't limited purely to just what the Master Chief is up to. He had no idea that there were all these books written, following characters completely independent of the Chief in different parts of the universe, and even if there were, he's still surprised that they would actually be stories worth following with other really interesting characters.
Halo has so much potential, and 343 seem to be bringing all that potential together for an incredible product.

Don't even think about it, just hype it until it feels right. And if despite all the hype, you still can't find it within yourself to get excited enough about the game? Well, that's obviously no fault of the game, it's because you're doing it wrong. :)
