No it isn't. The only thing I told docLEX was that the game in motion would look better than any screenshots that they could put up. Then you and rayy inserted your comments over 1440 resolution, thereby projecting on my rather blameless observation over screens vs actual gameplay.

When scoobs mentioned 1440p being locked up I got a good chuckle. What exactly is the problem here?
The problem is that yeah the game will probably maintain the same texture quality and graphics effects but it wont look as crisp as those pics because they are clearly render at 1440p. Do you think the XB1 will be able to render at 1440p?

I'm not sure how useful this application is to Halo gamers but it would appear that under the right lighting conditions HoloLens can do both VR and AR.

Really loved the E3 presentation of the campaign - all those particle and bokeh effects, looking forward. The only thing missing is Marty O'Donnell :(

The music in the campaign was quite nice , it seemed to carry the tension of the moment.

But damn, ODST had the worst character model/animation combination for its time -- it was very sad, considering we had had games like Half Life 2 ~7 years before that looked so much better. 343 really showed they can do animations and cinamatics with H4 IMO, so I have high hopes here. Also, totally off topic, but I can't wait to see FM6!
I think they had dat nice cartoony quality to them though.

Well you can say that about any game. I think 8-10 hours is absolutely perfect for a FPS campaign. I actually prefer it honestly. Still not sure I'm going to buy this right away since I virtually have no inclination to play multiplayer this time around. Halo multiplayer just seems real boring to me at this point.

I don't need a particularly long campaign to feel satisfied, but without Legendary and skulls my friends and I would tare through the campaign far too easily.

Hey Grift, I just started playing Civ:Beyond Earth Rising Tides. I can't say it makes Civ:BE great, but it does make it better. Aquatic Cities and tiles is a welcome improvement, diplomacy improvements fail at some things and succeed at others. Faction leaders contacting you with new deals and arrangements can be about as annoying as receiving repeated texts from a woman you wished had lost your cell number. The UI is great deal busier and I had some minor difficulty in the beginning figuring out how the new affinity worked on the tech tree web. But once I figured out yellow was for Supremacy, red was for Purity etc, I fell right in to my usual patterns.

There a few new units that come from merged affinities, the Golem is one of the better ones that I like. You start building them and you can literally watch the fear factor start rising among the other factions. Honestly there's nothing that says "cut the shit!" like an army of Sabers and Golems.

But overall it feels like they really filled in the voids and empty spaces of the title for a more complete game. Now all they need to do is Alien Crossfire this thing and bridge Starships gameplay with it and then I can finally call this a solid gaming experience.
