Dialogue was decent, good they reduced alot of swearing from KZ2, music was amazing as always, some set pieces was awesome while others were meh.
I know I said Killzone is a typical run and gun, but thanks to the slide and infinite sprint, I was playing it like Bulletstorm meets Vanquish LOL.
I was sprinting, shooting, sprint, sliding to cover, jumping across cover and sprint close to a helghast and sliding to avoid enemy fire and went in for the brutal melee.
A game like Killzone that sint suppose to be fast I got to say, I made the game much more faster, even my sister was shocked how fast I was playing and doing my "one man army" stuff, I loved doing that.
Multiplayer should definitely have slide, no idea why they removed it. The slide isnt a gamebreaker if it was in MP, its not like you would slide alot like in Crysis 2, Bulletstorm or Vanquish.
Nice feature really.
I give the game a 9/10.
Great campaign, really enjoyed the characters and nice performance from Malcom and Ray Winston (now bring Brian Cox back!), nice sci fi set pieces, especially near the end.
Multiplayer is great, if only they fixed a few minor issues, it is much more enjoyable than Killzone 2 MP thats for sure.
I hated the on-rail sequences, really annoying IMO.
Except the one that is in the demo and near the end of the game (i liked the one near the end because it was in space! which there was more. I hated the scrapyard levels, ugly and just very annoying. Loved the snow levels.
I REALLY loved the Helghast HQ were you infiltrate their base, awesome atmosphere and artstyle
I am glad I kept it, dont know how much I will play it once more games come out, but I am sure I will play it from time to time when I am in mood for awesome Killzone style, which I am certain it will be alot!
PS. Graphics + Killzone atmosphere + artstyle + sci fi + music = Wow!

But seriously, that and the jumping and stuff flying aroound.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just wish I hadn't run into a few big glitches.
Don't you know who I am? I'm the goddamned Banman.

But yes, it required to restart a checkpoint.
I agree, some parts was meh in the story but some parts was pretty serious and well done, mostly with Narville and Sev, Rico was the same douche..douche with a good heart of why he does it LOL

GG, people want crisp and clean looking games, that is why nobody uses film grain in Mass Effect!

Shows it off alot in the blacks.

I am playing Tactician exclusively, with Enginer now and then for turrets and fixing ammo crates quickly, but Tactician is my main.

Though I am a great team player, you can tell by just looking at what I am doing in the game, though tacticians arent as helpful without a mic considering they have scanners. But I might give it a go next time we both play at the same time.

But when I play I dont have much to say, next time you are playing and I am playing we can set up a chat and see how it goes.

the last mission was good, but i wish it wasnt used as the actual LAST mission. i'll never understand why any game would want to end on something like that, halo reach did the same thing with it's mounted gun section, and it confused the hell outta me. you have a great FPS, and you end on a limiting, on-rails section? WTF?
the cutscene that follows the credits was a bit 'lol' too tbh. kind of an "indiana jones in a fridge" moment. but it leaves it open for a sequel, and that a good thing imo. i reckon it'll be set on earth. i just hope they dont set it in some cliche location like, god forbid...NY. i'm hoping it's pretty much unrecognisable as the earth we know now. huge futuristic city-scapes etc.
as a whole i loved it tho, much better and much more varied then the second game. i even liked the story...and rico. he came across as a decent character this time around. although his voice still grates on my a little.
will probably play through again on normal (in 3D) and another time on easy (with MOVE) and then i'll be done with it for now.
now for the multiplayer.
Isnt Vekta the ISA planet now? why not attack there and have awesome atmosphere there just as Helghan but more human like? Could be great.

If GG can deliver something that, then fine.
I dont want anything close to real life places in Killzone, thats the beauty of it the franchise, the atmosphere and amazing unique artstyle.
I hope it doesnt even go to Earth at all.

i'm pretty sure what we see of earth will look equally as unfamiliar. there is no way that earth in the killzone universe will look like earth as it is now. not a chance in hell.

Junk Yard

I dont like Junk Yard map, cool rain and thunder, but I hate maps that looks too crowded.
Though I love Stahl's Arms, very clean, very nice interior designs...etc. I wanted that since chapter 1 from story, loved the artstyle. Reminds me of the ISA ship from KZ2 :)
