Interesting teaser. ME was good game, but if they work on its flaws ME2 can be even greater.

Hopefully PC version wont came later, and come at same time as 360 version. :)

Can't wait.

My PRECIOUS!!!!!!!! :D

My 2 cents, Shep is not dead!!, it looks like Cerberus is going to take front stage in this game as they did in the second book, from the teaser it look to be a Cerberus terminal relaying the information of sheps demise and the new teaser website also seems to be a Cerberus terminal?, the second artwork has to be 'Omega' a crime ridden gang run city said to be the mirror apposite to the citadel (also from the second book), but i am also finding it hard to believe the most prevalent rumor out there, that Shepard is going undercover to infiltrate Cerberus and the KIA is a ploy to get him in?, i mean Shepard is the most recognizable person out there so unless he has undergon some extensive plastic surgery i cant see this as a possiblity.

Might have to play again so i have both my good and bad Shepard game saves to carry over.

I came here to say the same. I am excited to see some new information but can anyone from Bioware confirm that game saves are still able to be transferred? I really do hope that you haven't backed down on this.

This is just your first taste of Mass Effect2. We are not yet discussing the details of the game.

However, as Jack said, don't delete your Mass Effect 1 saves yet.

Sweet!!!!!! After just recently finishing ME1 i cant wait for this baby to arrive, i put alot of effort into my Shepard (looks and choices) so i'm glad that your games saves look to be coming over with you. I dont think Shepard is dead, i think he has been captured by Cerberus and they are releasing this false info for there own evil purpose?

the N7 logo is clearly on the geths chest plate tho?
No it isn't. When you pause the scene when you get to see the geth you'll notice he's holding a piece of debris rather than wearing it. So it is just a piece of armor, but nothing is told about his owner.

Listen from 10:20secs in, some nice ME2 snippets of info, i think its safe to say Sheps is alive.

Damn, I'm started to get excited about it, I can't let that happen. Wasn't it more or less confirmed for 2010? That sucks now that I think about it because if they start teaser trailers and whatnot, it'll be torture.

I think the release window annouced makes it the latest around Feb/March 2010?, but yeah if they start the trailers/info/screens from now onwards it will be torture!

still looks like its on the geth chest plate to me. i think the trailer is trying to imply it is just blood splattered armour as you said, but when it pulls out it looks like a small geth chest plate with N7 on it. but i guess neither of us can be sure untill more info is revealed.

Very interesting if true?
The second chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy takes you to the darkest reaches of space, where you must uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of humans across many worlds. Prepare yourself for a suicide mission to save mankind. Travel the galaxy to assemble a team of soldiers and combat specialists, and launch an all-out assault on the heart of enemy territory.

The second act of BioWare’s epic sci-fi trilogy continues the story of Commander Shepard and humanity’s first steps onto the galactic stage

Success – or failure – depends heavily on the crew you assemble and their loyalty to you and the mission

Stunning graphics and a refined dialog system will draw you into the story like never before

Numerous improvements to the intense, third-person shooter combat

Deep character customization options let you create your own vision of Commander Shepard

Well, the first had em, so that's not exactly interesting. Although, if they said no dips in framerate or no texture pop-in, I'd be very intrigued.

yeah, i'd be pretty dissapointed if those issues where still present in the sequel. but i think they'd have to drop the UE3 engine for that to happen. cos even epic, the creators of the engine havnt quite sussed out how to remove that problem (gears 1/2 and unreal 3 have quite obvious texture pop-in)

What are you on! eveything about it is interesting if true as little story clues have been given away and as a Mass Effect fan any tipbits are very interesting and welcome, the Mass Effect forums are lighting up with speculation based on the above little tipbits.

What he means is that all those things above don't really give us any new information, most of it is the standard "sequal hype" bullshit every developer spews out when creating a sequal...
And screaming OMG IT'S GONNA BEEZ THA SHITNITZ is what the average fanboy/brainless moron is bound to do after reading a piece of text with no information whatsoever...

Well thats the point and every game does it, hell just look at the teaser trailer yes we know its hype material but so what! as a fan everyone can speculate and get the ME2 jucies flowing thats the whole point of posting any and all tipbits on a forum, for thoes interested in the game to discuss, if you dont thinks its interesting to yourself there no need to be an ass and put down someone's efforts to post something new with comments like "of the quoted features whats very interesting?" is there?

You're right about that nobody should be put down for being excited about a game.
And discussion is what a forum is for;
But I would like to think it would involve discussion on new information; not info I can imagine myself; "better graphics, new story, and new characters".
I mean I don't want to get this forum on the same level of the Gametrailers / IGN boards...
Which FYI is the lowest of the low if you ask me...

this is what has caught my imagination and i suspect what Delgado found to be very interesting if true, and also what everyone has been speculating on at the Mass Effect forums, this tiny tipbit is VERY interesting.

I'm very excited for ME2, but like FireWire said, none of those points are really anything I wouldn't have just assumed in the first place. I wasn't putting anybody down in asking what points were found interesting.
That all seems appropriately vague and simultaneously obvious. Of course we'll be in space. Of course we'll have a team. Of course we're still trying to uncover the mystery.

Possibly the Terminus Systems, or Unknown, I'm thinking dark space, directly after you-know-who?

Quote: where you must uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of humans across many worlds.

This sticks out quite a bit to me - it either means humans are disappearing from their own colonies or humans beyond the colonies are being abducted. If the former, it could be Cerberus; if the latter it could be the Batarians.

Quote: Prepare yourself for a suicide mission to save mankind. Travel the galaxy to assemble a team of soldiers and combat specialists, and launch an all-out assault on the heart of enemy territory.

The implication here is that the enemy has a territory to invade - that leads me to think it's something to do with either the Geth or the Batarians. Maybe 'Bring Down the Sky' had more to do with ME2 than anybody thought?

For me its all very interesting.

Looks hot :o

I just hope they work on the first game flaws, while the story was great, and the cinematic feel, the side quests were pretty boring, and there was too many planets to explore.
Too much Mako. I want explore more cities. :)

Will be quite nice, to continue the save games of the first game.
