Take back the Earth? I guess that means Earth will be populated with Husks or humans are simply being harvested for Reaper production.

HA! Shit! There's no denying it now! I personally cannot wait to see the expression on the Turian Counselor's face! A day of reckoning and bitter irony is coming. Imagine a fleet of Reaper ships flying towards the Citadel. "Try to dismiss THIS!" ;>)

Just one problem..................what if your Shepard didn't survive? What if your whole squad was wiped out?

Anybody else played the ps3 demo ? its no where near as plastic as those IGN shots pointed out, the frame rate is solid and everything seems smoother (jaggie wise) now i know this is down to the new engine i am not sayin "OMG TEH CELL"

But the screen tearing... sweet god why can hardly any games this gen FUCK this off :( such a immersion killer
oh yeah... and the demo locked my machine up *thumbs up* doubt it very much but i hope they fix a few of the bugs before release...

That happened to me, but i'm playing through Mass Effect 1 again then 2 on the 360, to get my Shep through with all my sqaud in check :)

This may sound like a daft thing, but does shepard take up more room on the screen this time? just seems to take up to much of the screen.

you know the questions at the start "anderson in charge" and all that, are they legit questions? or is it the games way of saying "who did you choose" so your memmory is always correct no matter who you pick?
due to the fact you CANT save on mass effect 1 after you have picked the council and anderson..

Also i picked the other guy for a change, udine or something, anyways.. what a back stabbing wanker...really gone up my trousers and flicked my ball sacks he has.

Also forgot how much i hate that fugly wench on the cover (miranda) jesus what a fucking bitch, i dont want to have sex her... more rape her and murder her...

Mansell is good but I don't know if he's Mass Effect material, his compositions are good but typically drag slowly to their better musical moments. Listen to the Black Swan score if you don't believe me. Of course I used to say the same thing about Howard Shore before he composed Seven, after that score Shore turned me into a believer. So Mansell could surprise us.............I hope.

I've never gotten the huge fuss that's made over his work though, his fans talk about him like he's the 2nd coming of Beethoven. He's gifted but terribly repetitious, and sometimes his compositions drown out the other sections of his orchestra or whatever musical ensemble he manages to throw together. One thing he's good at is capturing the dark moods of whatever he's scoring, but it's usually heavily laced with synthesizing that can irritate even the most forgiving ear.

On thing is for certain, Mansell isn't going to come cheap as he is one of the most popular composers these days. EA is going to have to seriously come out of pocket to have him score ME3. Of course they could just have him compose and then outsource the conducting of the score to someplace cheap. Seems to be the trend now days anyway.

Grim, from what I heard with Mansell, he is way into slow orchestral but yet moody stuff.
I dont think he is up to that retro sci fi stuff we know of, but I hope so.

For example Don Davis who was in for some tracks of Matrix movies, but after I listened to Warriors of Virtue I got surprised because its this fantasy adventure orchestra while in Matrix its all electronic type of stuff.
I hope Mansell is up for it.

But Clint Mansell is nowhere near as awesome like Hans Zimmer, Tyler Bates, Howard Shore, Brian Tyler...etc.

I forced myself to finish ME if it wasn't for that beyond fantastic last part I would call it a waste of time, ME2 however was beyond my expectations, beat it twice, one on normal and one on Insanity, Im planing an INfiltrator hardcore run, I started it but I put it on hold cause of Dragon Age Origins.
