Watched Wall-E and Grand Torino.

Wall-E was fantastic through and through. Pixar are absolute fucking masters at what they do. The quality and creativity was that of an animated short, but successfully extended to a feature length. And man, I definitely got a bit..emotional in parts... which is pretty crazy considering I was watching robot actors with very little dialogue.

Grand Torino was good as well, but I found the acting, even Clint Eastwood's, to be pretty weak. Still found it entertaining though.

I watched Pineapple Express. Hilarious movie. It's now 2nd in movies I've seen with Seth Rogen in them. The list would go:

1. 40yr Old Virgin
2. Pineapple Express
3. Superbad
4. Zack & Miri
5. Knocked Up

The dude from Tropic Thunder was hilarious in it as well. "Thug life!" *cocks shotgun* It had the funniest fight scene I've seen since Borat. Good lord, funny movie. James Franco plays a stoner way to easily. I'd be scared for him if I was his agent.

Yeah, I saw that one in theaters and loved it. I'm a huge fan of all those movies you listed and most of the cast members in all of them as well.

Seth Rogen openly admits to being a stoner. Perhaps Franco is as well. I loved that movie and I know the fight you are talking about Phaethon. Hilarious.

I flat out lol'd at two parts in the movie. When Colin Farrel is in the argument with the Canadian couple at the restaurant and he shouts "..a bottle!" before dropping the wife... and when he karate chops the midget. The rest of it was good but pretty low-key.

I watched Max Payne a few days ago. Unfortunately, I can't un-watch it. It was absolute garbage...but not even entertaining which is all I ask for.

I also watched Sex Drive. Had it taken a slightly less wacky route and had been more like Superbad, it would have been much better. James Marsden was awesome in it though.

I saw Revolutionary Road recently. Mind you I saw it with my girlfriend and two other girls, just the four of us. So my opinion might be biased due to the enjoyment of an overload of female company.

It was good though. Really odd, and depressing I must say. An interesting take on marriage for sure.

I saw Valkyrie a couple of weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised. The acting was rather good, and the fact that they all spoke with an American accent (with exception to a couple of characters) didn't kill the experience at all, as some critics had suggested.

It was rather moving at the end as well.

I saw Taken as well. I thought a lot of the acting in it was pretty awful. The hand-to-hand combat stuff was pretty cool, but the gunfighting action, I guess because it was pg-13 or whatever, was pretty lacking.

PG-13? The movie is a hard 18 here in the UK. The action was totally brutal when I saw it, which is why I enjoyed it so much. Liam Neeson was a total bad ass.
