Since 7116 DaysThe acting is better than any of the films that have preceded it. It's actually really funny and intense at times (which caught me off guard how well they executed both). It seems as the kids have gotten older and become better actors, the people in charge have gotten better at pulling shit off in bigger ways.
I only had one complaint about the movie, and that is when the big moment that happens at the end goes down, it's not as powerful as it should be. There's a battle that is in the story at this point that makes the scene really strong that they decided to take out. I think if the battle were there it would have been perfect.
I'd say if you haven't read the 6th book though it is pretty perfect, this movie is an amazing film and other summer movies should learn from how well executed it is.
There's nothing you could want more. The acting is great, story is great, funny, scary, parts of the world are executed in great new ways (Quidditch looked amazing), and so on.
