I got that one. It is for the first PSP model but I think it's still good. PSP gets to move a bit inside so if you want to be sure get some PSP slim model. I have my PSP with me every day at school and it looks almost new ( -finger prints :/).

I have to say before I leave that case thing is quite big. I bought that by picking it randomly :p so I am sure there is much better ones... At least my system is still working :)

I have to admit since i got a PS3 ive neglected my PSP very much, i only use it or video transfers from PSP to PS3

I still have alot fo good games to complete on my PSP like

Did anyone play Tales of Eternia and get completly captured by it? (I certainly did)

I thought Tales PSP was neat, but pretty.. kiddy? Not a horrible game but I didn't find it very captivating. I love my PSP. I haven't used it in a while, to be honest, but it's my favorite Sony console. I enjoy less console-ish games on it. To be honest I'm not really anticipating God of War that heavily, I found the controls in the demo to be a little cumbersome compared to a console action game and the game slowed down even at 333MHz.

anyone use RemoteJoy? Pretty much it lets you play your PSP on your computer monitor, like what the Slim does with the TV output feature. I've been using to play MHF2 lately. Seems to work good enough.

I think I'm gonna come in here regularly and stress how much everyone who plays PSP should get a Slim model. It is FANTASTIC, I'm not kidding. Don't let "sort of samey looking photos" fool you. It is sexier in too many ways to even start counting!

So this is a public message; EVERYONE SHOULD REPORT TO THEIR LOCAL RETAILER AND TRADE IN WHATEVER THEY NEED TO TO GET A PSP SLIM.

Oh come on.. it really is "sort of samey." The center of the unit isn't even thinner, it just lost its love handles and I really don't see how that makes a big difference. And I haven't really been keeping up with the new firmwares, but could I still run custom firmware on the new models? I really don't think I'd bother "upgrading" unless I could do it without throwing any money away.

It really is NOT sort of samey. It feels much, much, much better to grip because it's thinner and lighter and more "even" shaped across the entire unit. The buttons have gotten a MAJOR upgrade and so has the d-pad. The screen is brighter, the UMD tray doesn't feel and look like you've sliced open a Transformer, and the square button no longer shares living space with the screen, which means it actually feels like a button now.

It's just a much better unit now and I can honestly say it makes mince meat out of any Gameboy iteration. It's just too damn good now to not be successful, and the upswing in sales in the japanese market with the Crisis Core release and release of this is much deserved. I hope it propels it to become a great gaming platform.

I mean, hell, bring on the demanding arcade action stuff, because now the controls can keep up.

About firmware I honestly have no idea. I just applaud the fact that it's now a truly awesome piece of gaming hardware, whereas before it was just heavy, wobbly and sort of half-assed in places. A fact that sadly remains regarding the shoulder buttons. :(

I've already made the investment of modding my PSP, and I've used a Slim and see no reason to switch. Just not worth it.

Now if they bring that sexy Crisis Core Limited Edition slim PSP over for the NA release, I would be all over that like a fat girl at an all you can eat buffet.

Too bad that won't happen. Japan gets all the sexy looking PSPs :[

I don't feel like paying $300+ to import it. Like I said, if they were to release it over here in America for like $200, like the Battlefront LE bundles, then I'd be over it.
