Well it is a ninja so you can't blame them for making him look like ryu. How else are ninja's supposed to look like. But it is from the creators of Tenchu so maybe you can customize.

just make him look less like ryu. i mean. does rikimaru from tenchu look anything like ryu? no, of course not. does joe musashi from shinobi look anything like ryu? no, of course not. there are plenty of "looks" ninjas can have, this guy is just ryu 2.0.

I like the Buffy "death sequence" concept, just hope they show the real footage from the Media Briefing to the public on TGS. And Cryon too.

Holy shit!

My god make the combat fast and good, and Ninja Gaiden has a serious competition!

I got only one problem with the design...his mouth should be covered with a scarf or a metallic piece, and no "Robin" like eye cover type of thing, but the rest looks good.

I like how he used the building a bit to slow his speed before the attack.
But these guys did Otogi, and Otogi 1 and 2 looks great (haven't played them, but seen gameplay)...this can be good!

Definitely watching out for this one.

But "Ninja Blade"?
It's too close to "Ninja Gaiden"...they should change it.

Seems to be 360 exclusive...a shame. A new IP is always good for going multiplatform so it gets more fans.

Yeah but they also made tenchu so in terms of graphics i hope they take a different direction. Otogi was pure genius, more like art so i hope they take it in that direction graphically.

Tenchu wasn't made at all by Masanori Takeuchi's team.

tenchu 1 and 2 were made by acquire, and from 3 on were done by k2. from software was just the publisher in some regions.

Hell yeah, I love Ninja games. Hopefully a good title. Otogi was well reviewed at that time. Ninja looks a bit like a Ryu rip off, but I dont care as long as the gameplay is a hell lot of fun

Atleast the the guy from Ninja Blade looks cooler than Genshin.

The new images looks quite nice...all of them are gameplay graphics, now we know the graphics are very nice and detailed.
It seems you get to interact with the environment, like using the sword to attach it to the wall and slow your falling speed.

And it also seems that he will have like 3 swords on his back...hopefully real time weapon switch (DMC style).

PS. Ninja on a motorcycle?...he is no ninja :P

Sorry, but it seems they've gone as far out there way as possible to make this character NOT look like Ryu. Besides the metal thing on his head, I don't see the resemblence.

did someone checked the tune on the teaser site? lovely... very Metal Gearish those quick high/low notes, jazzy vibe and japanese pan flaute (or wathever it's called) they normally use on MGS trailers.
