Just started level 8. The frustration level is definitely ramping up with the introduction of those assholes with their rocket launchers.

Well there you have it ... The universe officially hates me!!! defeated the chapter 3 end boss and the game autosaves ... now it WONT LOAD chapter 4 no matter how many times I try (im guessing the save file is corrputed)

Since that's the only save file I have -> I have to play the game from the begining again and I am starting to hate the game even more now ... several crashes/freezes ... add to that the cheap AI, an awful camera (worse than the original NG) - to be honest, the reviews were indeed SPOT ON!

The game still needs work. more polish is needed.

Ok, I take back what I wrote above. It was a pretty easy ride up untill the first challange (which was easy with the loonar). It's getting pretty hard now, couldn't play anymore because I kept dying several times. The camera seems ok for smaller enemys but it's horrid for these big ones, they are pretty quick and I have to keep guessing where they're standing, and since I can't see what they're doing I get a lot of damage....

I feel sorry for you alimo, I had to do the same with chapter 2. The file just wasn't there anymore, but that were just 30 min of replay, nothing to get upset about. Also when I tried to navigate through the leaderboard the game keeps crashing every time. I agree it certainly needs more polish. Kind of a letdown, since the combat is soo good but there are a lot of things to get upset about...

I just finished Chapter 5. That Water Dragon was a bitch. It would've been impossible if I hadn't had arrows.

I played a few hours yesterday, and I think I got some magic skills or something.
Last time I checked on karma leaderboards I was at 2500 or something, now I am below 1000, and I can upload videos now!

I noticed that people had the falcon logo for the recording next to their name, I got surprised.

I thought that to be able to upload you got to be around top 50 or 20 or so...but I scrolled up in leaderboards list to see when the uploading rank began and I saw people who ranked around 1500 had videos uploaded, which made me happy, because it was not so demanding.

I am surprised I am below 1000, atleast not this quick and I don't do karma runs, but hey I am not complaining.

So I am on chapter 14, last one *dun dun dun* :O

I got to kill the priest and two forms of the archfiend.

The priest is pissing me off because of his minions and his lighting, can't dodge them

I know his patterns, but I don't know the timing or right attacks to do more damage (youtube here I come :D)

The first archfiend form is easy...double charge the bow and shoot (no need for aiming, just auto aim)...the second one is easy too, but his grabs...*sighs*

Yesterday I played until the last form of the archfiend and I gotta say, I had no health herbs no ninpos...nothing at all, if I died I died and had to restart from the last "checkpoint" (last cutscene).

All my stuff went to that priest, damn him!

But yeah, I really like the game, but thats once you start abusing ninpos hahaha :P

Once I am done, I am probably gonne go on Acolyte...Mentor has to wait because I am not ready yet.

Finally finished the game!

Archfiend was easy to figure out how to kill, good thing after a few hours sleep to go at it again, I played better against priest, so I saved a full health bar, all of my ninpos, one health herb and 3 devil herbs...I knew this time I could crush the big nasty bastard, so I did.

Best part...I did a OT on the last form of the archfiend...and the weapons: Genshins sword combined with True Dragon Sword...the final blow was great!

Anyway, what I should have done was to record my gameplay, damn it!
I got hit alot, used 2-3 Art of Inferno ninpo, but still, what do you got your arsenal for if you ain't gonna use them ;)

I know I said, final rank doesn't mean anything but I am gonna brag about it :P

Great game indeed, alot of frustuations with those rocketlaunchers and dogs and archers and those red outfitted ninjas with incendiary shurikens...my 4 MAIN archenemies, but the rest of the enemies was hard and easy.

I ranked up to 327 in karma leaderboards, definitely gonna record some videos now :)

PS. Music gets unlocked under "Audio settings"...I know what I am gonna do.

Some of the music tracks are so amazing, like Alexei fight, Rasetsu fight...etc. so many I can't count!
Tracks that kept me pumping adrenlin even though I died, I went back in the fight, great music score, awesome soundtrack Tean NINJA :)

PS. They did not show anything about Joe Hayabusa in the end, like wtf...I kept wondering with the fight he had with Genshin, they would have showned it, but they didnt, lame!

It's easy and "normal". Once you play through the game on normal it unlocks another difficulty. And then maybe another one once again. NGB had ninja dog, normal, hard, very hard and master ninja if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure NG 2 had master ninja as well and I can't imagine how insanely hard the game becomes on that difficulty...

Well I'm chapter 4 I believe. That boss from chapter 3 took about 5-7 tries on Acolyte difficulty. Electric flying..........caterpillar/seaman?

Anyways, I found out two things worth hating over. One is the the bats.........WTF?

Has anyone mentioned this one? How are you suppose to kill 10 bats attacking you at once? There is no way to defend against them which really sucks because they take lots of life. Seriously, am I missing something or is there really no way to defend other than trying to kill them as fast as possible?

Also, the electric flying caterpillar/seaman or whatever was a bit of a hassle, in great part because of the flying fish which I also found no way to defend against. That was cheap.

It is possible. The whole problem of that fight is that you have to charge every arrow and that takes a lot of time. Evading the lightbolts and the fish is practically impossible then. But basically the attack can be dodged without taking damage. It took me all my potions to defeat him on warrior difficulty, 3 tries

Well that about settles it. My game dvd is f***** I cant get past chapter 3, the game always crashes after that and disc read errors appear ... will have to wait till monday to return it as I bought it online and I need to call their customer service. it definately isnt the 360. it always happen at the end of chapter 3.

As you can imagine, i am beyond FRUSTRATED! ..... Damn my luck, DAMN IT!!!

I friend of a friend was complaining about NG2 crashing constantly--and GTA4--every other game he owns functions fine. I've heard about GTA having issues on some consoles, I wonder if NG2 does as well.

I haven't had any issues with NG2, except when I am checking out the leaderboards I sometimes tend to scroll so fast that it freezes, so I stop doing that :P

I doubt it GRIFT. when my game arrived, the box was damaged a little on the outside corner but I opened it anyway and the dvd looked fine but now I think I should have returned it before even opening it since the box was damaged - but you know when you're waiting for a game so much you just cant help it snnifing the box and opening it right away :D :D

I think I should be able to return it with no problems - the only thing is I will have to wait a couple of days :(

I dunno.. I've heard of specific games crashing a relatively small pool of systems, so I wouldn't be shocked. I told him to just call Microsoft and complain, since it really doesn't make a lot of sense. Every other game he owns runs for hours on end without any issues, but both GTA and NG2 consistently freeze his console.

ummmm very odd indeed that these issues hit only a minority of people when the game is literally the same. the 360 hardware is really inconsistent, some launch consoles NEVER broke and others have been replaced tens of times .... very strange indeed.

I'm on chapter 5 right now. The fourth level was pretty easy in the end, Alex even easier than Genshin. I love the loonar staff at level 3, it has become my favorite weapon.

The volves are giving me a headache however. Can't seem to find a sufficient way to kill them fast. They disturb most of my combos. Any hints from you guys? Weapons? Techniques?
