Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)

When i quit playing i was being sodomized by 4 mechs and 4 rocket-launcher soldiers at once in some kind of russian-esque square. I got angry at the complete clusterfuck and turned it off and i'm not sure that i will ever start it again.

But I agree, the gameplay design of the enemies are fucking stupid...that was the only thing that made me return NG2 so quickly and hate it...and that I was tired of NG universe after all these years.

One cheap thing is that you never know when they are gonna grab you with their mouth, and once they do, the damage is alot and you cant do anything about it.
I have played it on Mentor so I know the fuckers are just crap.
But I am done with NG, period.

Sigma has a few new stuff for sure.
Double katana (which was used before NG2 but is very limited)
3 Survival DLC pack
Rachel playable (boring!)
Sixaxis feature - shake the sixaxis for stronger ninpo usage
Prettier graphics.
Better and polished animations and new dodge moves, like backflip with one hand.
But everything else is pretty much the same.

Sath, although those additions are nice I guess I was thinking more in terms of less superficial changes. In the demo the level layout is actually a little bit different to the original Ninja Gaiden, and if that's the case with the rest of the game aswell then that could spice things up for a second playthrough I reckon. I honestly don't *really* need a different game to wanna replay it because I really think NG is aces (gameplay wise, I'm not keen on the stuffy rubber ninja motif) regardless. But yeah, you know.. Sigma is like a pair of pebbles and a stick of wood in bargain bins these days.
*controls are solid and intuitive except for running on water and fighting enemies, damn I hated that part.
edit: lol, that is last page stuff :D

I personally found NG2 considerably better in terms of combat, although it did lack in terms of exploration/adventure/platforming, something the first did better. So having said that I think both games are about equal, although NG did make a much better impression than did NG2--and I blame that to the lack of polish and impressive graphics that NG had at the time.
Mods, stop changing my SIG! I'm going to end up banning you!
Love, Bungie.

Like mentioned it before, its easy to seperate veterans in mastering the game in years to a few months players in about proximatly 10 minutes.
Anyway, yeah, I still say its cheap, but you also have to think that they made Ryu a slayer in this one.
The amount of speed this guy has now, and the OTs, the enemies dies faster.
But what makes the enemy cheap is that they got unlimited rocket launchers, bullets, Incendiary Shurikens, while yours are limited.
They are MUCH more agile to manuever your attacks and faster to do so, and they made it even more cheap to add a DASH for Ryu instead of rolling on the sides, which makes it easier for the enemy to hit you with its 3-4 rockets and IS.
And if you got a good eye, in NG2, Ryu doesnt have any invincible frames during his combos at all, while in NG he had them.
Meaning if you are in a UT doing combos or even in the air going for a Izuna Drop, the enemy could tag you with rockets or IS to interupt your moves, dumb crap!
Anyways, I hope Hyrioshi or whatever the guys name is, makes another Ninja Gaiden for PS3, like NGS 2 or something, would be great, he knows how to make GOOD design choices (fuck Rachel, annoying character).

But you gotta admit though, thats one heck of a flashier gameplay.

He could easily do both, but as arrogant as he is he probably went like "okay people, fast speed action, and increase the difficaulty by 10 from the first NG, that should teach them".
Accessable to wider audiance?
Gotta be kidding me. Right off the bat, the first cutscene is over they throw in around 5-6 Spider ninjas at you, without any tutorial and easier opponents.
Ridiculous.
*A New Form of Change*
I don't think the speed and awesome visual appeal of the combat has anything to do with enemies being cheap. Like Sath said, Itagaki easily could have done both without sacrificing anything.
